Hi all, some reports here about failing web interface.
I can't reproduce here, any wanting to debug this one?

Please send me more information: open telnet and
# cd /share/transmission-nmt
# ./index.cgi

and send me the results via mail please.
I think I have figured it out, please install 1.50 again. Should be fixed now.

This fix is only about the Web Interface ?

Yes, are you encountering another bug?
Hello all,

Did a fresh install of 1,5 final and still have same problem...
When started, everything was OK. Downloading fast and uploading without issues..
After a while, download dropped and upload hardly reaches 10Kb/sec.. Don't know what to do, really....

Yes, the same download list in 1.42 takes a lot more of CPU under 1.5.
Enough CPU to block the NMT and to need a reboot. I had to fall back to 1.42 to fix this.
My question was: how did you build the binaries ?

Some people report this problem some don't. My guess is that some of changed in libtransmission is causing more cpu load. This problem is visible for some users on the older versions as well.
I've compiled exactly the same way as I have compiled the 1.40 and beyond.
After being enthusiastic with the 1.50b3 and disappointed with the 1.50b4, i enjoy this new version.
I got more peers on each torrent and the download speed is better indeed.

I can't measure the CPU load but my NMT wasn't blocked so far.

Thanks Ger.
looks like I'll still have to add the ie6/ie7 patches after install - the css files are in the latest package, but the changes to transmission.js and index.html aren't Sad maybe next time Wink

Do you have the right download directory?
or do you have a directory that doesn't exist?
Because the transmission will crash if you are use a non existing directory.
