O yeah, thanks. All noted.
Actually just read also your first post and noted this current peculiarity (grey button).
Thanks!

Just downloaded one torrent and after full download deleted it from Transmission Web Interface.... and to my BIG surprise noticed that there are no more ANY of my OLD torrents???
The thing is that after installing 1.52 I had all my OLD torrents and they were seeding just fine! But now after first download with 1.52 above happened.
Is there any chance to get back my old torrents and continue seeding them? I presume the new version 1.52 have lost or do not see some library file with data of torrent files downloaded using Transmission 1.50.
Thanks!
I don't understand what you did and what you are asking, could be me.
Please rephrase your question, what did you do exactly?

I installed Transmission 1.52 today via CSI over 1.50.
My old torrents worked (seeded) fine after installing 1.52.
Now downloaded new torrent with 1.52.
After download I removed it from Transmission (the movie file is still on HDD).
Then I noticed that my old torrents are gone.
Transmission web interface is empty.
Hi. I'm pretty much a noob to NMTs. I bought my Egreat M31b about a month and a half ago. I'm currently running the latest firmware and I've installed Transmission 1.52 and llink 2.2.0 on my NMT. While i don't seem to have too much trouble maxing out my connection when downloading torrents from a private tracker, i've noticed that my M31b has been crashing pretty frequently for the past couple of weeks.
When i leave the house for work, i place my NMT on standby and let the unit run my torrents. but, after a few hours or so, my NMT crashes (i know this because my tracker logs my torrent activity, and when my NMT crashes, it lists my account as idle). I don't think i've ever gone over 24 hours without the unit crashing, and the restart and waiting for the torrents to verify is a bit irritating.
As to settings, it's pretty much in the default, and i really have had no need to tweak any of them since the client works beautifully (aside from the crashing, of course).
Any help to improve stability would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did not receive reply from Ger therefore did foll:
1. In CSI unchecked box for Transmission 1.52 to "start on boot" because I noticed that after installing 1.50 over 1.52 and after rebooting of NMT I again got 1.52 working on NMT.
2. Installed 1.50 over 1.52.
3. And then what a surprise got back all my old torrents. So I can continue seeding them.
From above I can conclude that there is something wrong with Transmission 1.52 and my PCH A-110 because after installing 1.52 all my old torrents were gone. BTW during upgrading from 1.4x to 1.50 I did not lose my torrent files.
I'll try to explain it again.
1.50 will integrate on top of the old tranmission and will thus overwrite settings and files from NMT itself.
This is not a ideal situation; the new CSI will try to prevent too many tinkering in the default software of NMT.
1.52 is the first transmission client which is installed in a seperate location, totally different than the default transmission client.
Because of this the transmission profile (containing your torrents) is also moved to a new location: Apps/Transmission/.transmission
You'll just need to add the torrents once more to the new client and it will continue downloading/seeding the old torrents.
I will, someday, enhance this a bit by copying the torrents from the old client in to the new. For the time being: do it yourself.
So in short; you cannot install 1.50 on top of 1.52, just next to it (over the default client).
Because of this new location:
When 1.52 starts it will disable the default or 1.50 transmission and start itself.
The button will remain gray in NMT applications section of NMT setup
My button is also greyed out and says: stopping for a long time now

Read post above yours. Explained it once more.
It's all in the topic start post as well.

Thanks, Ger for explanation and your efforts!
Just one question: how can I move my torrents to the new Transmission 1.52 ? Manually? I mean do I have to simply have to find the torrent file on my PC and then add to Transmission 1.52 and it will find the already downloaded file on my PCH, check it and will start seeding after checking? I hope it will not start downloading one more time despite the fact that it was already once downloaded?
Nevertheless I have a lot of torrents and to add them manually is hard

Therefore I guess I will wait for next version where you promised to add automatic torrent file copying from them 1.50 to newer version.
In any case thanks for your efforts!
It's easy, click Open in web interface, browse to the old .transmission folder and add the torrent from there.
If I am correct, they are stored in a subfolder "torrents".

I found the subfolder... But in any case I have to add files one by one, right? It is impossible to add them all in one go, isn't it?
Hi!
I just installed this Transmission client and it looks really good.
It just seems that Private torrents does not work! I use one private tracker and the torrents does not start downloading.
Then I tried one torrent from Piratebay and it starts downloading immediatelly!
Any ideas?
btw. my NMT is SYVIO-200
EDIT:
FIXED IT!
That private tracker used https:// protocol in tracker address. I used online torrent editor and changed it to http:// and it worked!
It seems that Transmission client does not support HTTPS yet? Maybe fix coming soon?

Version 1.60 is official..!

I'll get the code this evening and compile it.
Hopefully the web interface works again!
