Hi guys, firts I have to congratulate your work, these projects are awesome, a real improvement in PCH.
Second, I searched the post and checked that Transmission for NMT doesn't have authentication in web-gui cause it conflicts with the gaya-ui, right? But if access Transmission using the Transmission Remote Gui, can't I enable the authentication since I'm accessing it remotely at work, university, and other places using a dynamic dns fowarding and I would like to have some security over this.

Hello,
I installed v1.72 on my new HDX 1000 with 1.5TB HDD. Now, when I upload a .torrent nothing happens. The screen refreshes, but files stays 0. I also tried v1.71 and v1.61. The normal installed version works.
Any idea?

The same was happening to me last night, but I found out that the problem was with the .torrent files, which were corrupted when downloaded. Downloaded them again and it worked. Strange thing though, now when downloading the 2 torrents, my eGreat M34A freezes, I have to shut it down via the remote (the only button that works). I suspect which torrent is causing this, I'll have to confirm it once I get home after work today.
Unfortunately it wasn't one specific torrent. Whenever downloading, the NMT would freeze. I'm using Transmission 1.72, anyone had that happen before?
Wait 10 min, do nothing, then retry.

No the .torrent files are ok, they are working on my PC with µtorrent easily. Any other idea?

it's normal, since 1.72, the defaul file preallocation is set to 2(full allocation), only after the file is allocated, the downloading starts.
when allocation, NMT would freeze since the busy CPU of NMT
you can check this by a ftp client to watch the download file would increase bit by bit, for a 30G file, it would cost 10 minutes, maybe still less.
so be patient, or to use the ftp client to watch the download file.
i like this full allocation mode because it reduces much more file fragments.
however, you can change the allocation mode in /share/Apps/Transmission/.transmission/setting.json file.
first stop all the torrent downloading,
then use CSI to stop Trans.
change the file

I lost my internet connection, and the transmission 1.72 is gone. I can "install" it back, but it doesn't do anything
How to fix that problem? Tried restart nmt, doesn't work either. tried install manually, doesn't work. What to do?

Hi all, I'm trying to change the destination forlder without success. If I chage it from the gui it have no effect. I have tryed to stop the daemon and manually change the config file, but the files are saved in the original directory. What am I doing wrong? which are the correct steps?

I have been checking the config options and I haven't quite figure out how to do this:
max of downloading files = 3
other torrents get paused until one of those 3 have been completely downloaded (they keep being seeded though), then next one in queue starts downloading.
