Hi, It's just a read-from-nfo the ttID for every file, i have a large library and pch is ignoring my nfo files. So i wanted to make a workaround but i don't want you to lose your time .So if sourcecode isn't aviable it's just np. thanks (and think about open source )

Please be aware that the C200 firmware will soon be converted to using the NMJv2 database format. After that this application will no longer work. There is a new version of NMJED to work with the NMJv2 database after the upgrade: NMJED3 |

Hi all, Just uploaded 2.0.1.4 to fix a few bugs and add some new features. Fixed bug causing Video thumbs to be set to default image when populating from TVDb/TMDb Fixed bug causing individual albums to be created for file names having extended characters Fixed bug using imbedded names with illegal characters as file names. Added Reconcile Database to the tools menu to help identify and correct media file name and path. This is especially useful if you are re-arranging your media folders, you can select a group of movies etc and assign them to the new path. |

The solution you are looking for is obviously the optimal solution for syncing. Can you have a sql command prompt? I would be happy with using an sql statement like : UPDATE table_name SET file_path=value WHERE file_path=some_value Or just being able to select the season title in the gui and have the ability to change the part of the file path i want changed like moives\a to tv\a and have that change for all episodes. |

Hi stlouey, A number of people have asked for something like this and I've considered it my self a number of times but haven't done anything because there are so many possible scenarios (e.g. if you renamed a file I'd have no way of knowing which file that was in the database). What I am thinking of now is a consistency check which will scan through the files in the database and provide a list of any that don't match a real file. Then provide a number of options as to how to fix them, e.g. selecting multiple files and providing a new path to them etc. I'll have a look and see what can be done. Any suggestions on alternate ways to approach this are always appreciated. |

Hi ufitzit, Thanks for your time creating a great product. I have changed the file structure of my TV series at the source and was wondering is there any way to create a way to bulk update the file path? At this stage i have to open a TV series and modify the path individually as there is no way to multi select or edit the path from the folder level. Thanks |

I've added the ability to filter on TV shows or movies etc into NMJED3 for the NMJv2 database, and I'm hoping that they upgrade the 200 series to use the NMJv2 database so that I dont have to support 2 apps. But as I have no idea when, or even if, this will happen I'll have a look at adding filtering into this app. hehe, I don't ask for donations, Im a full time employed IT professional who has a passion for writing code and a Popcorn hour, but thanks for the thought P.S. Looks like my web site is down at the moment for anyone trying to download. It should be back up shortly. |

Hi all, Just uploaded 2.0.1.3 to include TMDb and TVDb look up and population of information and images. To find a Movie or TV show, Edit the Show on the Format tab next to the TTID entry is a Once a show has been found and/or the TTID entry has a valid IMDb value in it the right-click context menu on the Image tab will allow the selection of a image from the TMDb/TVDb online store. |

Ow. i see.. thanks for the reply! ![]() I also tried other apps, but so far this app is the most efficient way for me. Atleast I now know that manual input is the only way to go for me as of now. :/ |

(08-06-2011 08:59 AM)Gabor Wrote: Thanks for reply. Hi Gabor, All movies and TV series are SHOWs and a SHOW has one or more VIDEO files associated with it. There is a flag in the SHOW table which tells NMJ which are TV shows and which are movies There is significant duplication between the SHOW and the VIDEO table and the database designee doesn't lend itself to easy retrieval of some information, the developers are aware of these limitations and are current re-designing the database to make future version more data friendly. Unless strict naming conventions or the properties have been populated with season and/or episode information its impossible for software to know what is a TV show and what is a movie. At this time I only know how to extract data from a limited number of video formats. To try to help with identifying incorrectly defined shows and movies Tools -> Reports will allow you to extract listing of shows filleted on type and other various properties. That having been said, there's always scope for improvement ![]() (08-11-2011 02:21 AM)melon Wrote: Just new to NMJ... And I like this Tool.. Very Nice... Hi melon, Unfortunately retrieving data from IMDb requires a paid for license, a place im not prepared to go in a free app ![]() As I have mentioned above I can extract Season and Episode information from some file formats, and there are file naming conversions that can supply this as well, tho it might be debatable weather renaming all your files or fixing the data is more effort intensive. For naming conversions please visit the following thread [HOWTO] Naming, Tags, Exclude, how to get an good start. The Popcornhour scan will retrieve data, but unless file names are quite exacting often gets the wrong IMDb entry. |

Just new to NMJ... And I like this Tool.. Very Nice... Thou, I wish that the other details from IMDB will automatically updated when the TTID is inputed. Is there a way to automate this one? Specially for the CAST, IMAGES, GENRE and SYNOPSIS... Actually, I'm only having troubles inputing the details for the TV series... |

Thanks for reply. I could make the modifications as indicated. As a possibility of improvement, it would be nice to differentiate the movies from the TV shows. I know that in the DB there are tables for the VIDEO and for the SHOW but for the end user this should be transparent. for the movies showing the entries of the VIDEO and the SHOW table is just redundant. So some filters could be implemented to show either the movies or the TV shows. because so I cannot see which movies is identified erroneously by the MNJ as TV show. Same for the music as we cannot see the artists. Even tough, this is nice tool. Cheers (08-05-2011 11:33 AM)ufitzit Wrote: Hi Gabor, |
