| It would be nice if there was discrete power control in this API. Like, "poweron", "poweroff", "standby". Without that remote control apps have to keep track of power state to know when and when not to send "power". |

I understand SDK API is a "Confidential Draft", so it's understandable that right now it's not fully integrated with all firmwares. Good to know about the draft in order to know what can we expect of the first final release. I presume the official release of the SDK will provide the interface so it should be transparent which firmware is behind (as an API is supposed to work). I hope this api will provides the XSD structures (XML Schema) of the responses so it will be easier to build a library. I have seen in the developer site information about building apps that run inside the box, but are they thinking about the software which is outside? Have they considered the idea of a java library? I have search in internet and nobody knows when |

| all 5 firmwares with the api are at different versions and they rarely line up. I would recommend a diverse test team with all the different hardware depending on what commands your using. |

I have read the SDK Api Document for key sending. I have sign up in the developer site and I have seen the SDK API 3.0. I have succesfully tried listing_device and listing_files on A200. Does anyone now about it's compatibility?. Can it be used with all syabas products? Thank you so much |

| is it possible to send over text strings through this api? like for an android app, use the virtual keyboard to search on the NMJ library inside the NMT? |

This is only 1 api from the collection, there are others that will list files etc, sign up as a developer to get access to the docs A pre warning the api's come with very little real world examples, another user and myself spent weeks trying to get one to work |

| this api is only emulating the Remotecontrol so with this api doc there is no way to get a listing. |

| Is there a way for the API to list all movies in the shares, so you will get a list of all your movies through an app and later select and play from this app. Or is it just "blindly" play, pause etc. Incorporating listing of movies etc would make this great! |

| Could a software with these bindings possibly be used as a remote control but over wifi instead of IR/RF signals? if so I love it! having laptop/phone etc start stop, select movie to play, much like squeezecenter. |

thats standby and not poweroff, i am not sure about this command now, if it is only standby then it should also power on with the api. You are right that the simple power off just turns off the outputs and the LCD. |
