YAMJ has a flash Ui plus unlike MLMJ costs nothing.

Sorry Chris, I was a bit clumsy with the wording of my post. I mean't that, for me, the migration may be problematic. I have about 1800 DVD rips, half of which are TV series. My naming convention will give me some grief (both for movies and TV series). Where there is an "A" or a "The" at the begining of a title I have moved it to the end of the title and preceded it with a comma - helps me with sorting and searching on my NAS. NMJ may not be able to find these titles in the database server. For TV series, in almost all cases I have iso copies of all discs in the series. I have not separated out the episodes into folders and named them according to the NMJ convention. So, problematic, in terms of having to edit an awful lot of titles and perhaps extracting TV episodes if NMJ doesn't cope with 'discs' (as distinct from episodes).

That said, I may have to do something about my naming convention at some time as none of the new boxes are likely to be compatible with MLMJ. I'll think on it further.

Thanks.

Allan

Ouch, sounds like a lot of hard work to migrate from my current Jukebox (MLMJ) to NMJ2. Is there any chance that MLMJ will work with the A300? I am keen to upgrade from my old A110 for the improvement in picture quality, but reluctant to be stuck with a problematic Jukebox.

I agree in part, but Idiot Abroad is funnier than funny.

The majority of my TV series are the current season maybe that is the problem except for the Office which I have all 8 seasons and the older seasons have no problems with episode names. I have my 8 seasons of the office set up the same as you folder wise at the root the folder is The Office then in there I have 8 folders labeled Season 1, Season 2 and so on and I have an nfo file in each season folder as well as cover and fanart .jpg files named after the first episode.

I don't have any of The Big Bang.

My episode titles are as follows:-
Dexter.s01e01 - Whatever that episode is called

I have a folder named after the TV series and then one per Season.
Dexter
Dexter > > Season 1
Dexter > > Season 2

I then have within each Season folder two jpgs one called:
Dexter.s01e01 - Whatever that episode is called.jpg
and the other
Dexter.s01e01 - Whatever that episode is called.fanart.jpg

Some of my seasons have a NFO file but most dont. If they do then it is just the imdb link to the season page.

Tried renaming the Episodes adding the title of the episode for example The Big Bang Theory.S05E03.The Pulled Groin Extrapolation but still only the first two episodes of the season show the accurate title the rest just show The Big Bang Theory as the episode title.

I'll double check as it has used my cover pictures and it may hav been the view or just TV fanart it wasn't using.

I have found that for multi-disc movies you must name the files with the suffix CD1, CD2 it does not work for Disc1, Disc2,..

Try adding the Episode titles to a season that is having problems and then updating to see if that helps, adding episode titles is dead easy with therenamer you can also specify which site it should scrape the filename from to match tvdb or imdb.

Fanart does work for some for me.

Did it manage to scrape all of the episode titles for your series?

I already have the Episode Titles in my filenames. Yes it did list them and the info.
Got the following TV all seasons:
King of Hill 18 seasons
Stargate
Stargate Atlantis
The Wire
Weeds
Dexter
Rome
...and a few more

I have a cover and fanart in my seasons folders. It did not pick up fanart but not sure if it can show fanart?

Using links to thetvdb were way worse it used none of my artwork and starts on the second episode for all of the series.
