PCH players play a lot of formats, but still there are some that are not supported like SACD, DSD, MIDI and others.
Downmixing means decoding to stereo PCM.
Please refer to the specifications of a particular model.

FLAC is free and open codec and PCH does play FLAC trough SPDIF.

Why don't you feed digital audio via SPDIF/Toslink to your external DAC?

hi,
my first post so hello everyone is there any NMT supporting an USB dac? i would like to plug it into a stereo amplifier with speakers, for music playback.. from what i have read so far, all NMTs go with multichannel audio, so they downmix for stereo.. also built in DACs probably have not the best audio quality. i was quite interested in the popcorn hour A300, but it apparently doesn't support USB audio.. so is anything?
