| As I said before, I've got no issues till now and there is no differnce (i don't see one) in the video quality. I've paid about 60$ for my setup with R-Pi. So if any ubeatable problems appear (like unstability of 1GBit ethernet connection or unacceptable performance of nmj in A-210 /about 400$ for a-200 upgraded to a-210 chasis/), I will replace it with another setup. But I'm sure, that it will be based on XBMC@htpc. |

try high bitrate 1080p with true audio or DTS-MA and compare picture quality... I got an android phone that plays every file in my library also also but it doesn't look the same.... |

Support (open elec, xbmc) is much better. Xbmc is an outstanding media center solution. Popcorn will never reach this level. |

After all the firmware mess I've had (while doing the instructions provided here on the forum) i decided to look to xbmc with some compatible hardware instead. I used to recommend it (hdx 1000). Nowadays is a lot different. (a210) |

I couldn't find anything like you said but I found the media folder. I decided to empty it and I was right. When I went back to NMJ, it could update the database from scratch and regenerated all of my series and movies as I wanted to do. So it's all right. Thanks a lot for your help. |

Hi Willem53, if I press Continue, it goes back to the File mode, if I press Retry it gives me the same message again and again... In the maintenance all apps are running. But I don't know if that's one from the maintenance or if it's a separate app, in that case it's wouldn't be running as I don't use the Apps section. |

I'm not using the applications, I'm only using NMJ for movies and series. I have not seen anyway to update it though now I don't have access to it anymore. How do I update it? Thanks for your help, sincerely, Joanie |

Hello, I updated with the new firmware this week but the NMJ does not update, show or refresh anymore ever since, instead I get the following message "An error has occurred, your requests cannot be processed" with two buttons: Retry or Continue I can see the image with the refresh button behind this error message but when I hit Retry I only get this message again, I tried many times and nothing works. Today I tried to reset to factory settings, but that didn't help, I still get the same error message. I also connected the NMT to my computer and checked the drive via Gparted live and reset the factory setting again, nothing worked and the same error keeps showing. Could you please help me? I would be very grateful, with kind regards, Joanie Edit: I forgot to mention that I updated the firmware directly via my Popcorn Hour A210, on the maintenance tab. |
