Dutch channel Uitzending gemist. - trance31 - 02-10-2008 08:56 PM

Is it posible to get http://www.uitzendinggemist.nl on the NMT A-100.
The website have a lot of Javascript on it.
But the site is a site withe all the broadcasts of the dutch national channels.
And because of that it is very popular.

Is it possible??? Thanks in front from 1 of the many Dutch owners of a popcorn hour A-100 HD.

Thanks

oh oh,

There i go again....
If there was (Python) scripting possible like in XBMC it would be a snap to use the XBMC script for this.

As i said earlier, getting a customizable front-end with scripting opens up a whole lot of opportunities...

There are a lot more scripters out there than C++ coders...

But Python is not possible. So i heard.
Because of that i did the request.
I thougt if it is possible for you tube it is also possible for http://www.uitzending gemist.

I hope that Syabas can give us a answer.

and Michaelr64 they have give a sourcecode.
But i'am not a scripter. so.

That's not what i heard. What i read was that people seem to be able to do it since they can compile a toolchain, so Syabas doesn't have to do it.

Ofcourse, i think, this still implies a api needs to be written that allows scripters to access the screen for placement of buttons, playing media etc.....

And then there is always the performance issue, it is not a Pentium3 but hey it might just suffice for basic stuff, which is what most XBMC scripts anyway.

I had a small sample made to display ANWB traffic pictures, would love to see that just before i leave for work.....
but doing this in C++ is out of my league....

I agree that it would be a great addition, probably the one I would use the most.

You have my vote.

What about the commercial counterpart RTLGemist? Does this site work in the same way or might it be easier to add it?

I tried it, but it only gives back program's with empty links. Maybe something has changed on uitzendinggemist.nl

Well......yes...stuff has changed. A lot.

I've used that script and did some major modifying. Currently, I've got a beta running on my one of my subdomains to see how it runs. It's slow, it doesn't cache, it's ugly and it's in a quick hack php but it seems to work.
I haven't been able to try it really yet on my pch, but in the browser everything seems to be in order.

I'll have to hack in some caching and stuff before I release it to public because my monthly bandwidth will be quite quickly filled if I release it as is Wink
