RE: On-Demand network share mounting - Northernbloke - 03-25-2010 10:17 PM Finally solved the problem of my box apparently locking up - it was caused by oversight jukebox hanging during an intermittent auto-rescan whenever the box was power cycled. Both the versions I asked about in my previous post work fine RE: On-Demand network share mounting - dwids - 03-26-2010 11:06 AM Did the recent firmware updates [A-100] Firmware 01-17-100317-15-POP-402 (00-17-091216-15-POP-402 Apps) cause this to break? It seems like bookmarks aren't being reloaded after a power off/on. They were working just fine till I upgraded the firmware this morning. Update: A day later, had a think about it. Reinstalled mono.wrapper, rebooted and my persistent bookmarks are back; they survive reboots. All happy again
RE: On-Demand network share mounting - AbMagFab - 04-11-2010 08:31 PM Does this support ISOs? It's sort of useless otherwise, since you can easily use HTTP to stream everything else, which avoids the mounting issues. The only thing that requires a local mount are ISOs. What am I missing? RE: On-Demand network share mounting - odinbolt - 06-14-2010 07:49 AM I just installed mono.wrapper to fix the ubiquitous multiple-shares issue. This has resulted in ISO movies appearing letterboxed (black border all the way around). After investigations on the forum I see that amp_test is used for ISOs - looking at the mono log I see that it's running amp_test.wrapper followed by amp_test.real just as it does for mono. I'm posting here because it didn't occur before installing mono.wrapper and I found some posts indicating this is sometimes a problem with mono.wrapper & ISOs - but no solution was mentioned, they just uninstalled mono.wrapper. So... has this issue been resolved? Is amp_test.real called with incorrect arguments? Ideas why it might only be an issue for 'some' people? thanks. RE: On-Demand network share mounting - ferrante - 11-15-2010 05:01 PM journey4712, you're a legend! Thank you so much... I've been struggling trying to find a solution for so long... having multiple shares was such a pain when using YAMJ, now it is absolutely effortless... cheers mate! RE: On-Demand network share mounting - Sven_Smart - 01-15-2011 04:09 PM Hi, i just installed my CF-SATA adapter to use a cf card as an internal drive, everything went fine so far. Now i want o use mono.wrapper to solve the multiple share issue with YAMJ. Installation worked fine but i still get the "could not play message" when i try to the a movie. Mounting the share where the movie is stored and then starting it in YAMJ is working. Any ideas? Thanks Henric RE: On-Demand network share mounting - Sven_Smart - 01-15-2011 05:14 PM Found a solution by myself, the ftp server has to running
