Just put the new version on via CSI - works great. Now Oversight is finding my DVD folders too which, as it happens, are on the NAS :-) great work.

OK as long as you are using the exact same url as in the webservice it looks like a bug in gaya.
I can adjust the javascript to generate the full path. I'll put this in the issue list.

Please note v20091123-4BETA reports itself as v20091123-3BETA!
After this I think I will start using the automatic revision numbers.

Also there is a patch for people who want to launch oversight from themes but having trouble with the pull down menus.

also like the fact ep names are back but not sure if I like them now Undecided

but nice to see they are optional

I have had a bit of a bad scan (incorrect data) but I'm going to do a clean install and try again (edit - tried and same issues... loads of posters missing and episodes not being linked to others in the series - all work fine before)

I've also noticed a glitch .. above my episode lists this text has appeared

The Last weekend I updated my hard drive to the ultra silent WD Caviar Green. Big Grin

After that, I did an clean installation of Oversight 20091123-4B (3b on screen), and now I have a lot of issues:

1.1: Many detection errors

The.Tudors.S01.720p.BluRay.x264 (01-10) --> Now is s01(01-08) and S02(64-64)

Firefly - Season 01 720p (05-15) --> Now is s01(07-10) and another 7 episodes without number (s?? - 1900)

Heroes - Season 03 720p (12-20)  --> Heroes II 2006 S4.1900 (17, 19,1618,20) and Heroes II 2006 S6.1900 (14,12,15,13)

The.Universe.S01.720p.BluRay.x264 (01-03) --> Across The Universe (2007) x3

Virtuality.S01E01.Pilot.720p.HDTV.X264 (pilot) --> now is detected like a movie "Virtuality (2009)"

I like the option whether or not to display the episodes names. Set it to yes and it works like a charm.

I have seen in the previous posts that it is to possible to set oversight as the default page when the PCH starts.

I have done the following as per the thread:
put a file called index.htm in the root having the following information
< meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;http://localhost.drives:8883/HARD_DISK/Apps/oversight/oversight.cgi" > (with pace near < and > removed).

I have changed it to
< meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;http://localhost.drives:8883/SATA_DISK/Apps/oversight/oversight.cgi" > as I could not see any HARD_DISK on my C-200.

I have placed the index.htm under / and /root
but it is still not working confused

I guess the above steps were for the A-110. Anything specific needs to be done for the C-200?

I need to format the episode names a bit better.
I'll change that in the next release.

Ah this is because the plots are longer than I expected. Because oversight is written in C. I needed to select a buffer size for reading the plot. I choose 4000 characters. But you have some plots that are longer. I'll increase to 5000 Smile

(Its either that, or add some fancier buffer handling which is probably not needed at the moment)

@all, the last two posts seem to indicate scan detection has gone down rather than up? That was not my expectation. Can I get some more feedback on the scan detection compared to previous versions.

@espresso - presumably by other thread you was refering to this

@Atinkler, Plot bug fixed for next release. However Nip Tuck scans OK here. Maybe I'll wait for your re-install results.

@Atinkler - Virtuality: the scanning got confused because http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1219836/ lists it as a made for TV movie, and not a Tv Show?

I had a quick look this morning and it wasnt looking great - I think I'd have to agree that the scan detection has dropped Sad

I'll confirm this evening....

Is there anything I can send over?.. error logs etc? If there is let me know how to find them and how to send them.

Is the next release pending?.. not a big drama but just wondering Rolleyes

You'll still see the normal NMT menu for a few seconds,
but as soon as oversight can be loaded it automaticly goes there..

Would like you said putting
http://172.0.0.1:8883/oversight/oversight.cgi work by having PCH menu go to oversight after a couple of seconds?

I'll have a look but to be honest .. I had an episode of Heroes showing up as some show called Hiymly ?!?! .. but all the other episodes were fine.

Also, had issues with Californication, Brothers & Sisters and more.

I'll update this evening... maybe a full reinstall then Sad

TV shows appear to be ok but Movies just show:
