Old 4:3 movies and TV series will now not fill the screen. Was this bug known before releasing the firmware? I have tried every possible picture setting but still end up with big black bars either side of the picture. My Philips LCD does a really good job of filling the screen with a 4:3 picture. Not with the new Popcorn firmware though.

The picture won't stretch though, this is correct.

Not quite sure why you would want to use that feature, since I find it distorts the aspect ratio quite horribly even on TVs that have a gradual stretch feature (my plasma does as well). But tastes differ I guess.
