That means the nzb was not verified/repaired by nzbget.

(01-04-2010 09:09 AM)Jipster Wrote:  SCRIPT STATUS "UNKNOWN"

That means the script doesn't return a proper exist code (success, failure).

If you would use the default post-processing script you would see the proper infos for par- and script status. If you use another script it needs to be extended to fully support exist codes introduced in nzbget-0.7.0.

Anyway, these codes are only for information purposes.

Thnx for the quick reply Hugbug

I installed nzbget true csi so I think it installed the default ... How do I know which script is installed??

It looks like its here: /share/Apps/oversight/unpak.sh
The oversight is the latest version 667

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion - Meins321 - 01-04-2010 03:15 PM

you might install the new 05.01.2009 unpack.sh from oversight manually mentioned in this thread:
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showthread.php?tid=14534&page=1 and is said there to be "beta"
single insturctions are here: http://code.google.com/p/oversight/wiki/UnpackingScriptsOnly

but in the thread some people mention that no "return" is made by the script and it will be revised Wink

maybe we stay with the default one as of know (last one) which is included in csi:shy:atleast it works flawless for me

The default script is "/share/Apps/NZBget/postprocess.sh"

That's the pp-script from oversight package. If use oversight you should keep that pp-script.

Are you sure you didn't change the options "serverip" and "serverport"? They are not related to newsserver configuration. To edit newsservers use section "NEWS-SERVERS" and options "Server1.Host", "Server1.Port", etc.

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion - PrairieSailor - 02-06-2010 03:54 AM

It seems like the same files are in multiple places. For example i have:

Apps\nzbget\nzbget.conf
Apps\nzbget\nzbget.conf.example
Apps\nzbget\postprocess.conf
Apps\nzbget\postprocess.sh

then I have:

Apps\nzbget\.nzbget\nzbget.conf
Apps\nzbget\.nzbget\nzbget.conf.post_oversight
Apps\nzbget\.nzbget\nzbget.conf.pre_oversight
Apps\nzbget\.nzbget\unpak.sh

When I installed the new nzbget I reinstalled Oversight but nzbget gui is showing the nzbget.conf from the .nzbget folder, but the correct .conf was in just \nzbget in the older version.

Also have these errors now:

Code:

I'm now very confused what needs to be where, and to know if the oversight unpak is being run.

Actually, I re-installed everything from scratch and seem to have it workingCool

Hi,

I updated to the new version using CSI but now it looks as if 2 instances of NZBget are running. I get errors like too many connections or could not resolve hostname for -servername-. Any way to fix this ?

@PrairieSailor,
You're getting script status ok with oversight and unpak.sh that comes with oversight?

Thanks,
Espresso

No I see that it does say "UNKNOWN". I changed the path manually to point to Oversight unpak. But now I did notice they are unpacked and end up in \Download and don't get a folder created with Oversight, or moved to the correct category (TV, Movies, etc).

Something is still missing.

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion - Cherek - 02-06-2010 05:05 PM

O.k. well today i wanted to start setting up my PCH-A100 for what I want to use it for.
But I immediately hit a snag with the installation through CSI: I don't see any webservice (NZBget) added at all. I already tried to deep clean the nmtapps and reinstall it but to no avail. Also reinstalling and disabling some nmtapps doesn't help.
I can connect to the webinterface, so NZBget itself gets installed just fine.
Is there something I should check?

BTW I later tried installing Transmission through CSI and that did show the webservice, so it's got to be something with NZBget...

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion - defer - 02-10-2010 08:15 PM

Why update NZBget 0.7.0-testing r380 instead of r342 ?
The r342 version is working great.
Any advantage ?

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.7.0 download and discussion - Cherek - 02-10-2010 09:45 PM

Well I just started with adding programs to my PCH-A100 so I installed it through CSI along with Oversight, zebedee, feedtime and lighttpd.
After I installed Oversight NZBget did work, though the odd thing was:
Zebedee did show the download process but the NZBGet webUI constantly says there is no connection with the NZBGet Server.
That is pretty odd to say the least... Now I wouldn't mind using only Zebedee for the process monitoring, but I do need to know is changes made in the NZBget Webui (in the config) are right and working.

About the webservice not shown in the PCH: I came across a topic in the C200 section, where Ger Teunis said there actually wasn't a webservice. So that should not have shown in the CSI installation. In reaction hugbug said there was an option for the webservice, but you shpuld use a certain link (I'll post it later when I'm able to look it up.)

I'm now trying to get NZBget to use my External USB drive as only destination for the files, but I haven't quite got it working. It's not simply changing the (Main)Dir's cause that caused a lot of directories getting created on the local hard drive. And Zebedee (well ofcourse actually nzbget) doesn't do anything with the nzb's that are uploaded.

BTW defer is r342 also a nzbget 0.7.0 release or 0.6 ?
