Would it be possible the have the poster size to be forced to what we like and have the overlay over it ?

I saw the probleme is about having the poster set has background of a and the overlay inside it.
But with a different structure and the overlay fixed with absolute position, is it possible ?
For what you're asking, the skin can't use absolute positioning. As you can see, the poster is going all the way to top-left corner of your screen. Typically, in a web browser, this is position 0,0. Unfortunately, this is not the NMT's position 0,0. So if I try to put an overlay at 0,0, it won't quite work out right.

However, really, the solution is simple. Just get high resolution posters. The suggested poster.scanner.SearchPriority is in the readme, and this should help YAMJ get the absolute best posters out there. This should allow you to use the overlay without worrying about the tiling.
Whoever it was, I guess you deleted your post about custom-linking the "M". I guess you might've already found the solution, but for everyone's benefit, to custom-link the "M", change it in the MovieURL variable in the skin-options.xsl.

They are downloaded and exists in the jukebox folder but I don't see them on my PCH...

*EDIT* Tried setting the "uses online banners" to false but still no banners, just the frame around each one of them...

I'm assuming you're going to the TV Shows index (Other_TV Shows_1.html)? Absolutely no banners are coming up? It's just a blank page?

Try r1111/r1110.
Ok, so I tried booth r1110 and r1111 and it's the same result as I get with r1118 & r1119. Sad

I took a pic, with my iPhone so the quality isn't that good, so you can see how it look like.
As you can see theres only one show listed but I have more shows and everything works perfect if I set banners to false and use thumbs instead...

Ok the skin looks good, couldn't believe how easy it was to install, i did not have to change much only the Exit Strategy.

Now is it possible to get a 7x3 layout?

Also is someone working on getting Boxme working with this skin?

I like the skin but it does not tell me the source of anything, What is all the extra logos in the Pics folder for then?

Can the movie name be centered, its tucked away in a corner and becomes quite aggravating when you get to the bottom left row because it shifts the movie name.

Page blah out of blah is not really needed is there any way to change it to a simple 1/2 number format?

Can the big movies logo in the top right go away and use that space to expand the entire bar across the top? It serves no purpose really.

Can the word "WATCH" go away from the movie details page? It just sits there and serves no purpose other than to take up a line of space.

Depending on how you want to set it up, the tutorial could really go many ways. The skin really installs just like any other skin. If you want a YAMJ tutorial, that's another topic. There's just a bunch of options, but the skin will work out-of-the-box. It would be a rather boring video if it was just me changing "false" to "true" and vice versa.

Really, the best way is for you to figure out how your set up is configured, if you haven't already (movies on the NMT/jukebox on the NMT, movies on the NMT/jukebox on a PC, movies on a PC/jukebox on the NMT, movies on a PC, jukebox on a PC, etc.), then it's a matter of putting the skin in the skins directory, changing settings around if you want, then running YAMJ correctly, then transferring the jukebox if you necessary.

There's a sticky about configuring YAMJ, which should walk you through the majority of it.

If you're wondering what the options will actually look like, there's a link at the end of the 1st post that links to all the previous images. I've posted images of just about every option.

If you're still having trouble, you can post. You should only post here if it's specifically ÆON-related and not YAMJ-related. If you're still having trouble, then we can maybe talk about a video tutorial.

You can set mjb.nbThumbnailsPerPage=21 and mjb.nbThumbnailsPerLine=7 and mess around with the thumbnail dimensions, but there might have to be some changes in the coding since I don't think it'll center all the thumbnails -- it'll align it to the left. I'll have to check the code again to see where this can be controlled.

The skin can only accommodate either the video source or video codec. In the skin-options.xsl, set videosource to true to use the video source.

The movie title in the Wall view, at least for now, will always stay in the bottom-left. I know when you hover over the bottom-left 3 movies, the title will move to the right. I'm planning on doing some changes so that the movie title will always stay to the bottom-left and will always be visible.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be centering it in the bottom, at least not for now. The reasoning is because there are some very long movie titles -- if it's in the middle, it's probably going to do some weird things with the page number -- there's a better chance of the movie title fitting if it's in the bottom-left.

In the skin-options.xsl, there are "Page" and "OutOf" variables. You can blank out the "Page" and change "OutOf" to "/".

It would be kind of pointless to get rid of the "MOVIES" in the upper-left and expand the Filter Bar. The Filter Bar doesn't have to be any wider than it already is. Besides, the primary point of the "MOVIES" is to just really let the user know where they are, and it fits nicely with the myiHome (/index) skin I made (SpeedDial NMT), should anyone be using it.

Since TV cataloging has been added, that "MOVIES" will actually turn to "TV", which again, lets the user know where they are. If you really don't want them, you could simply delete the graphics, but I don't think I'll be expanding the Filter Bar.

I could make an option to get rid of that "WATCH" row, but if you get rid of this, this will assume you'll never use trailers or MultiPart movies.

That would kind of have to be a YAMJ feature request. YAMJ does give us a "New" category, but I don't think there's any real way to customize it -- it'll look just like any other Wall view index.

Hi,

i've been thinking my head off for the last 5 hours and finally I know what the problem is....

When I generate my HTML markup for the PCHA110 it looks @ my files and generates images and html pages. But when the mediainfo file can't get the right information from the AVI it adds "._" in front of the files that are created. How can I resolve this? I think it mainly doesn't get information about A/V.

The file is in tact, I can play it normallly within the NMT structure.
Is there a way to tell mediainfo (within a nfo)

thanks.

Djoq

This is happening with more than just one of your video files? Which version of MediaInfo are you using?

Anyway, you can put in the media details in the nfo using the format found here: http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/wiki/NFO_Files (XBMC NFO movie xml)

It is happening with about 50% of my files.... strangely.
I tried to edit an NFO file... but... it gives an error.

Can anyone give me a good working NFO code?

I am using the latest Mediainfo file.

You only need to use the Overscan Tool if the top, bottom, and left sides of your TV are cropping your posters ... or if it's bothering you.

The Overscan Tool can help your entire poster be visible on-screen.

Are you still able to access that movie (looks like Iron Man) from the Wall? Also, which version of YAMJ are you running?
