That is just a function of the NMT and there is nothing you can do to change it. If there is an index.htm file in a share it will autoload this file rather than browse the share.

Glad you like the tv mod
Regarding your problem with the lowlist mod, it's an overscan issue from your TV ... i suggest you stick with standard lowlist mod for the time beeing, until i eventually find a solution to this (but i have to say, it's unlikely)
