Been using Aeon for years with no problems but recently had to reinstall and can't recall how to change the properties so that the home button on the remote gives me the movies only wall (no tv). I have searching with no luck.

Hi guys,

Wandering if someone can help me.

I have this skin installed with the lowlist mod. When I click on a cover, it brings up the fan art and the plot etc. Is there anyway to make the plot text smaller so that it doesnt get cut off? Because after only a few lines you get .... then I cannot read what the movie is about.

Also, I currently have 14 pages of films, I know that I can press alphabet keys so to speak, but is there anyway to skip page by page instead of pressing down?

And lastly, is there anyway to have to have less rows so that the covers are bigger?

Help with TV Shows (Aeon+Transparency) - wgstarks - 01-03-2012 12:01 AM

I don't have many TV Shows and this is the first set I have tried to set up in Aeon so I'm not exactly sure how it should look, but I think I'm missing some artwork.

Shouldn't the page listing individual episodes have the same background fanart as the previous page showing seasons?

I've got cover, banner and fan art all located in the same folder with the video files and all named to match the first video episode.

Also, the episode titles only contain about 20 characters. Can this be changed? It's a little short for some of the titles and it looks like there is a lot of empty space there.


Edit:Got everything fixed except the max length for the episode titles. Still looking for a way to display more characters in the episode listing.

It's a little hard to see but the titles are all truncated. Episode 5 doesn't appear at all.

I haven't used the LowList Mod so this could be wrong but I think you can change all of these in skin properties.

Check the wiki under skin properties for proper configuration.

I have just reinstalled YAMJ and Aeon and it seems to be working except the thumbnails are not displaying an HD logo if the movie is HD. I have set

# Add an HD logo to the thumbnail when the movie is 720p or 1080p : true or false
thumbnails.logoHD=true

and even go as far as deleting the database from scratch, regenerate and they still do not show up, what am I doing wrong?

You set it in the skin-user.properties file right?

You have to create it. It needs to be in the same folder with your skin.properties file if I remember right.

But I had it working at the weekend without a skin-user.properties file and I cannot see what I am doing wrong now.

I'm not a programmer so I'm probably not the person to help troubleshoot this. As an alternative you might try using TOMY (GUI tool). It will let you customize most settings with just a check box and if you've already got a working libraries file it's easy to set up.

Hi
I have done a fresh install of YAMJ with this skin.
I have enabled Low List by following these instructions:
In skin-options
Going to Low List options
xsl:variable name=”LowList”>false to xsl:variable name=”LowList”>true
Also changing the posters height & width tp 332 x 224 in skin properties
I have also enabled Fanart by doing this :-
# Download fanart image for movies using the IMDB id : true or false
fanart.movie.download=true
fanart.movie.width=1280
fanart.movie.height=720

The out come is that the Low List does notsit at the bottom or go all the way over to the right edge.
I also do not have any fanart pics. just red curtins.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Solved by updating YAMJ to latest snapshot also there was a piece missing in the 75% texture pack. Plus I was viewing it on my PC.

I have installed the following:-
Flags, Studios & Yellow Stars. as per instructions in the read me that came with them.
But they are not working.
Can anyone help.
