... also, all these files in the demo video are on the local HDD of the C200 in question, or were they from a NAS / other shared source?
I'm assuming shared files are allowed for this, otherwise this little demo just got multiplied by zero! (IMHO)

I think I would prefer a movie wall approach. Its flashy but to much is moving around and it seems confusing.

Yeah I prefer movie wall too, but jukebox for movies AND music AND photo with a better integration is a great step forward.
In this demo the UI is taking to much space, I like the way AEON theme is focusing on cover art, it simple clean and really impressive.
Maybe the flash theme will be configurable through XML, but i don't hope to see this in the first release. When you look closely to YAMJ you can see that their literally dozens of things to improve.
Rich UI will be a big piece of software with many updates to come.

I like the way it is going, some things could do with a bit more love.
But i see the DELETE button popping up here and there.
I REALLY, REALLY think this is something that needs to be adressed.
I asked for a configurable delete action in the ui a while ago.

This new ui also has Delete buttons.
I love it when my kids are able to operate this thing, but sleep bad at night thinking that now it will be even more easier to delete stuff from the harddisk.
Please Syabas, implement some kind of Delete-restriction in the C200 !!!!

I would have to agree that the movie wall is best as this is a little disorienting.

then please put a password protection on the delete option
i also don't like others to delete files
e.g. going to the toilet and getting back with one less movie or even a empty harddrive
also a button combo would be nice just like the setup lock page
this way only fellow owners will be able to delete stuff
but rest looks very nice to me
just can't waite for this new interface

I have not seen a post where it says that the delete function actually deletes the movie from the hard drive or only deletes it from the menu.
In either case if it was handled like a computer would;
requiring a confirmation to delete the movies and or menu listing
and then the file(s) would be put into a recycle bin (Only accessible from a setup menu)
so they can be restored or permanently deleted from there.
That would ease the minds of many.

I would guess they wont be releasing it anytime soon. If they were going to release it anytime in the next month or so they wouldnt be posting videos of the progress. My guess is they are still at least a couple months away.
