Seems to be about the only thing I might care about, but don't want to be a guinea pig and possibly break other things that work.

But you cant expect them to put resources into problems that pop up on the 100 seires. And being the first marked devices im surprised its still gets active updates at all. Let see the wdtv 1 last got an update last year and that is a company with big money behind it. If you expect the 100 series to have new feature you are sadly mistaken about what goes on in this market.
