Yet Another Movie Jukebox (YAMJ) v2.2 Released - Omertron - 10-30-2010 10:46 AM MovieJukebox 2.2 was released on 30th October 2010. The latest release of YAMJ is now available, with lots of enhancements and fixes please head on over to the download site here http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/downloads/list to grab the latest version. First time Recheck When you upgrade, YAMJ will automatically recheck up to 50 (by default) of your movies at a time to ensure they are correct and the Jukebox files have all been updated. This will inevitably slow down your first few runs of YAMJ. You should let this process complete and even speed it up by temporarily increasing the size of the number of movies to check with this parameter in your moviejukebox.properties file: Code: mjb.recheck.Max=50Please Note There have been some changes to the way that the moviejukebox.properties file works. With this version of YAMJ the moviejukebox.properties file should now ONLY contain override values of the properties you want to change. This has been done so that you don't need to save the moviejukebox.properties file every time you update YAMJ, you can just unpack the archive file over your old installation directory and you will be good to go. If you are installing from scratch, and you want to overwrite/change the settings, then you can copy the example moviejukebox.properties file from the properties folder to your root folder and then copy the appropriate line from the default file (properties\moviejukebox-default.properties) and place it in your moviejukebox.properties file. Special Myihome Note If you use myihome you will need to ensure there is a blank moviejukebox.properties file in your plugin directory or Myihome will not recognise the new version of YAMJ. RE: Yet Another Movie Jukebox (YAMJ) v2.2 Released - erezsolan - 10-31-2010 12:09 PM running smoothly RE: Yet Another Movie Jukebox (YAMJ) v2.2 Released - Alan T - 10-31-2010 01:51 PM I'm having a problem with 2.2 for tv shows after upgrading from 2.0. Previously in 2.0, all of the tv shows were grouped together correctly. (ie: There was one image for all seasons of Lost, you click on that image and it took you to the next page where you would see individual seasons for Lost seasons 1 through 6). Now in 2.2, some of the tv shows are properly grouped, but others are not. Using the same example, I have on my main page now all 6 seasons of Lost instead of only 1 Lost image. Where previously YAMJ was grouping up the seasons of a tv series correctly, it now seems to be matching them against all kinds of various movie titles. So I have Lost showing up as various different things. Is this something that changed in 2.2 that I need to now configure differently, or something broken? I had the same issue with Lost a few weeks ago. I ended up putting a "Season 1.nfo" file in each season folder. Each with the same line in it: http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=73739&lid=7 This references the main Lost page not a particular season. I just deleted everything in my Jukebox, leaving just the iso files and rescanned and it seemed to have picked up everything correctly once again. Not sure if I just got unlucky or what after upgrading, but looks ok now. What you need to do is change the permissions to allow YAMJ to write to that directory RE: Yet Another Movie Jukebox (YAMJ) v2.2 Released - mercuryman - 11-01-2010 10:38 AM (10-31-2010 05:46 PM)Omertron Wrote: Hmm, see that line in the output that says "Access is denied" that means that access to that location has been denied.was able to install the YAMJ on my internal HDD, and its now working, tried install yamj on an external HDD, after that i connected it to the nmt, and was able to browse the yamj, but but when I it tried to play a movie on the external HDD it would say "could not play" and goes back to the movie detail screen....
RE: Yet Another Movie Jukebox (YAMJ) v2.2 Released - digitalman - 11-01-2010 02:38 PM * Enhancement #617 Add logo to cover art to indicate the presence of subtitle this sounds intruiging. are there any example pics of what this looks like? Would be interesting for me to have something indicating a movie needs forced translation subs for non english parts. I have most of them memorized but it would be helpful for the rest of the family. Is this something that can be manually identified in an NFO file as opposed to automatically checking if subs are in all files? Is it possible to stop YAMJ from using regional titles? Ie, it's now picking Norwegian titles on some films. I assume this is due to the new IMDb changes as I had to disable this feature in the IMDb control panel. 2. Is it possible to stop YAMJ from pulling the full synopsis that is too long for the detail page anyway? Previously a short synopsis that usually fit within the borders of the details page was used. Now I get a long one that just goes "..." as it's too long. Edit: I see now that it's scraping the correct short plot under "outline", but uses the longer synopsis that files under "plot".
