I was thinking the same, build the database on the pc and then export it over to the PCH. That would be great and it wouldn't tie up the PCH while scanning all the time. Being able to do all your editing, missed files, wrong scans prior to uploading it would really make it easier.
I wonder if someone out there has enough knowledge to build a program. HINT, HINT.......

Okay, so we just have to instruct wife/kids/anyone else who uses the PCH: "Don't push the red button!!!" (which then just makes it all the more tempting for someone to try it).
I seem to remember that there was a sketch on UK TV, back in the late 60s/early70s, about not pushing the red button! It may have been on Monty Python's Flying Circus?

Unfortunatly no I don't find any way to watch the Extended version of the Avatar Special Edition on my A200 and well nobody answer me about it...
I try to install the C200 firmware but my internal hdd was not recognized anymore... and Avatar is on it so...
I try to read it on my PC but because it's not an .iso PowerDVD don't want to read it...
If you find something let me know

FLAC 7.1 in mkv
Has anyone tried to watch a movie with 7.1 FLAC 24bit/48kHZ (mkv) with newest firmware?
I have tried 3 (Rambo , Saw5 and Beauty & the Beast). Films start to play ok but after a short period of time A-200 hangs -> I have to pull the power cable.
Rambo is L4.0, Saw 5 is L5.0 and Beast is L4.1 (encoded Rambo and Saw myself and downloaded Beast from HDBits)
Films with 5.1 FLAC work ok.

I just purchased the A-200 a couple of weeks ago and now I see the A-210 coming out. Does anyone know the difference, like will it have full BR support like the C-200?

Exactly same hardware/firmware. But is fanless and in an metallic (alu) box....

Me too (well, four or five weeks ago, now). I wish that I'd waited and got the fanless metal box!

Yes, I don't know what Amazon's return policy is, I only got mine a week ago now that I checked.
Plus there will probably be a waiting list for the new one so I don't know what to do. The fan doesn't bother me at all but the metal case may help keep it cooler than the plastic.

1. Does play AVI files. Please tell us what's in your avi container.
2. Haven't checked that one but read other with same issue. I user DHCP with static mapping without issue.
3. Doesn't get stuck. I play ALL my media over CAT6 networked from Qnap nas over NFS. Changed to that a few months back when there was stuttering in mkv's over SMB. In general NFS is native to all linux'is devices so I tried and it worked and haven't changed it since.

I can confirm the static ip issue as I have suffered from it myself.
The other issues are down to non spec AVI and network issues as others have no problems.
