Backing up video files? - blackcows - 01-12-2011 03:53 PM For the majority of my files I do a good job of backing up, I have 125 gigs of music, 35 gigs of pictures, and a lesser amount of general docs and software data files. These all backup to my WHS and I also keep a copy on a portable drive outside of the house. I also would like to be a little more redundent and start using a online backup service for these files. My DVD rips are a different story, currently I have 1.65 tetrabytes of data only stored on my WHS. I guess an argument could be made that the actual disks are backups but it took a looooong time to rip all of the discs and also to add proper NFOs....I don't want to do that again. Online storage would be of the most intrerest to me but I doubt it would be practical with this amount of data. Any suggetions for an affortable backup solution?
