Great thanks.
Hey unrelated, I recently had to switch my IP for the PCH inside TOMY and since I've done that, everytime I launch TOMY it comes up with the UNSAVED CHANGES dialog and asks me if I want to save the changes before scanning. Clicking Save obviously starts the scan right away after that.
Since I changed the ip I've run about 6 scans, so far every time, even though I HAVE been saving, this dialog keeps coming up.
Doesn't appear to be affecting the scans, yamj or my jukebox at all, just something in there thinks I've made a change when I haven't.

Each time you start up TOMY and have the UNSAVED CHANGES message, is the IP that TOMY recorded previously still shown on the PLAYER tab, or is it always reverting back to the original IP?

I'll check, but I'm pretty sure when I first had issues after my power outage and realized my ip was now .102 vs what it was, .100, TOMY showed .100 on the player tab.
When I found out where to change it, the Player tab DID update to .102 and showed online green light. I will verify tonight when I get home though.

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility - Temujin - 11-08-2011 03:35 AM

Confirmed, the Player page shows the .102 ip, the new one. So, uncertain what TOMY is finding that may have changed, if anything. Might there be some cached info about the old ip address of the PCH?
At any rate, it appears to function as per normal, just thought I'd let you know in case anyone else is seeiong this behavior.

Does TOMY support the A300?

RE: [TOMY] Windows YAMJ GUI Configuration Tool and Utility - Auggie - 11-09-2011 12:46 AM

I don't see why not. The only thing that may not work is the Popcorn Setup utility, but that only allows you to see it's configuration and change only a few items remotely.

I've got mine connected through the USB to my PC at the moment, but it shows a red X next next to the popcorn icon.

I think that's for network connection only. Figured that out.

There are "help" informative messages that appear when you hover the mouse over some of the interface elements. This may help in understanding what they do or perform...

Excellent utility, thank you very much.
Kind regards.

I thought these two items were addressed already, but maybe not because I just ran into them. The first one is definitely an annoyance, the second one less so but not something one remembers between property file edits.

The file viewer doesn't save the properties files in outside viewer friendly formatting. i.e. No carriage returns in Notepad, and even VIM doesn't see things on the proper lines (^M's instead). I thought this was fixed in the past but it may have just been inside TOMY that was addressed.

When you're in the File Viewer it doesn't seem like File->Exit should close all of TOMY. Only allowing the "X" to close this window isn't very intuitive.

Other than that, definitely still a great app to smooth things out.

I will definitely address those issues in the next version. TWO point OH is under development and it is a big step forward, so I'm sure there will be yet new bugs to work out after its initial release as well Blush

Looking at the code, the File Viewer has it's own save routines, so whereas the TOMY GUI was fixed to save YAMJ files as OS-specific (i.e. "Windows-friendly"), the File Viewer's own save routines were not updated to do so as well.

Fixed for next release...

Is there not a File->Close Window (Ctrl-W) when the File Viewer is the front-most window, in addition to the File->Exit?

Fun little utility, I should be working but I am guessing I will spend most of the morning screwing around with TOMY and asking questions here Smile

When I try and select the view jukebox I get "Non fatal error unable to access WMI"

My jukebox file is on a WHS on my network
