what Dave means is that there is currently no build for 200er series which includes NMJ V2

Does this mean that no one is working on getting NMJ V2 into the 200 series ?
I know the controller is different on 300 and 200 which I guess involves some re-programming for all I know.

first there will be another update with old UI as you have it now, we are currently at RC1 but there is only very slow progress on it right now.
After this Firmware gets released we plan to port the new UI to the 200er series, so currently we first fix the reported UI/NMJ V2 issues from 300er users, so that 200er series gets a solid build.

I hope the new update of the old UI will include some of the lacks we have seen on the NMJ, I would like to continue to use it but with some fairly basic improvments. Specially on the music part. Like an easy way to create large playlist (I have 1500 CD's), like giving you a warning if you add a song to a playlist which is already been added, like a way to display what song is currently playing and so on......

So this means that realistically we cannot expect the new NMJV2 before beginning of Q2 2012.
This is sad :-(

I'd rather have a solid build for my 200 that the 300 series users have tested and debugged first
Of course, I'd rather have my logged bugs fixed on the 200 before anything else happens.

quite disapointed after patiently for months and years waiting for fixing bugs, that were promised to be fixed by Syabas.
And looking at new A300 thread I see the same story repeating.
So it is not about bad Sigma, that gave unmature chip for 200 series.

There is a warning associated with this firmware that it will not be possible to go back to an earlier revision firmware.
I'm mainly using my C-200 to play flac files. Until now the jukebox interface is too slow to be of any use. So I am reluctant to upgrade to this new firmware without a possibility to remove it, in case I do not like it.
There have been several posts with questions regarding this warning, but I could not find any answers why going back to an earlier firmware would not be possible.
Is there not even a possibility to flash an older firmware after firmware recovery?
Or is this message only applicable when you have a DVD or a BluRay player in use?
Can anybody help me?

Please read the very first post where it says in big bold red letters:

That seems plain enough.
If you only play flac files then you do not have to upgrade if you are happy with your C200 exactly as it is and are willing to buy a different machine if you want it to so something else and it doesn't work.
Otherwise, upgrade. Many people have done it with complete success.
