There are other problems like the module mn-200 that fails to go to wifi-N since the last update, and the false gigabit ethernet (i'll upload max to 15MB/sec and with good freezing or connection lost via SMB or ftp)....
If I started to list the bugs against the price of this product I want to cry....

Well, well ,well, where did you get that info? IT seems more and more likely that I'll replace my popcorn players by Dune or some other brand players...
I think I must have convinced around +/- 35 people to get a Popcorn player over the last 3 years. There was a time when I was convinced Syabas could pull it of and get a perfect functioning product, superior to all other brands... sadly that ship has sailed and the popcorn players have lost their top of the market range spot
Shame on you Syabas, don't you guys have any clue on how to brand your products as top range? It all starts with support, even for older models,... and that way showing that even your old models are superior to the other things available... thus the new products can do nothing then exceed expectations! -> this is the message you want to send to the market!
Now the only message you send is: "Ow we are stressing because of all the competitors and will bring you a shitload of new devices with barely any support in order to show you that we can, better than any other company, create crap at a high tempo.

I thinking about leaving Popcorn too for the same reason.
I just ordered the latest A300 for a friend and, like you, convinced many friend to buy one and again, for the same reason, thinking to change.
Would be nice to have your clue...

anyway, I'm looking to the Dune HD Duo .. two slots for HDDs, a better "flash" interface (thanks to the competition i.e... C200...).
Besides - but sadly it seems to work... well "so so" from the feedback of users - we can add a Digital TV !
one con : its processor = Sigma Designs 8642 ... (less powerfull compare to C200, which isn't a 2011 new model...)
And you can download from Dune and try the new Beta firmwares ...

You guys should start a new thread instead of spamming the main thread, I keep thinking there is something interesting here.
Fully agree the situation at the moment sucks (if you think you're badly off, you should try the beta firmware we currently can't flash back from without doing a full recovery!), patience is a virtue :-p
Dune doesn't have YAMJ/Eversion, nuff said :-)

dune doesn't have yamj eversion but have Zappiti (better interface)
i have both dune and c200 and my c200.
For me after 2 years with the c200 --> nmj nothing for french people,firmware sucks.

I sincerely hope Syabas is paying some serious attention to all these threads which are all saying the same thing.
We're fed up, you need to fix the 200 series bugs and get some new firmware out soon.

The forum has heard this time and time again. What's the point in banging your heads against a brick wall. It's painful.
Syabas believe that the 200 series is a stable player.
Those 85% that voted for the 300 UI for the 200 series gave Syabas all the time in the world. They will be perfecting the UI/NMJv2 on the 300 and then simply port it back. That'll take months.
End of it now like jjj666 says I keep thinking someone wants some help and find nothing but bitching.

No more bitching and complaining and waiting and wishing...I just simply sold my C-200 for $190, it only cost me $49 bucks to upgrade to an A-300. No more worries, except waiting for shipping of the A-300 to me..
