I'm not authorised to move files from c-200 with explorer on windows - benros - 12-07-2011 01:34 PM Hello all, I can access alle maps and files on my c-200, that's why i make different of submaps to order many movie's. ![]() When i want to move one movie from the download DIR on the C-200 to another Map on my C-200 in Windows with Explorer i have the following message: Map in use: try to close the map (or file) and try again; OR you are not authorized to carry out this process. So i cannot move movies to another directory on my c-200 with explorer from my Personal Computer. Who can help me or know an solution with this issue ![]() Thx, Ben RE: I'm not authorised to move files from c-200 with explorer on windows - Pain - 12-09-2011 10:08 PM The first error, "Map in use...", looks to me like the folder is in use by the download program. Are you using the torrent client? If you close the torrent client before trying to move the folder, it should work better. I can't help with the other error, but I can help you with a better way to move the files. Use the "file mode" button on the remote, and select and move the files using that instead. It will be at least twice as fast as doing it over the PC. Thank you for your reply, i moved all te contents with the "file mode" button from the .dir i cannot delete. In this directory there is 1 (hidden)file named .directory, this specific file i also cannot delete because i'm not authorised. On my windows 7 pc i can see that only a Unix \user 999 has the permission to change this .dir and the underlying file but i don't know why this is ?? And now the solution : On the C-200 i removed the .dir that i cannot delete (that was possible). After that i could delete the whole map in Windows with explorer. Presumably the rights on the map moved also to the other directory which i was authorized to delete that map. So the problem is solved, Paint: thanks for your reply to move the files on the C-200 itselves ! |
