Question about video output settings - yinx84 - 01-31-2012 08:58 PM I have a question about the video output settings for my A-110. I've got my first full HDTV (Sony LED 40EX521) last weekend and have been fiddling around with the settings, but some things don't make sense to me just yet. I've googled the terms and found out what they all mean.. but I don't understand how they affect the stuff I'm trying to watch. I have been testing different settings with a 1080p movie and a lower quality Xvid. I've played with stuff 'Colorspace', 'Video output' and 'Framerate Sync'. Yet, in both movies I have noticed absolutely no difference in quality. No gain and no loss. So I wonder... what do these settings actually do? Do I need to fiddle with them at all, or does my media box/TV auto-detect the right settings depending on the type playing. TL: DR What do the video output settings do and in which cases should I bother with them? Thanks! |
