I haven't been sent logs of this problem rescan yet ? I cant replicate it on my system so I need some logs.
Also when sending the logs mention the name of at least one movie or show that has disappeared.

Also if anyone is NOT having this issue please post.

Just found out that the disappearing of posters probably has something to do with the filename. For example when I have the name Legend.of.the.Seeker.S01E01.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION the poster of the show disappears. Changed the name to just Legend.of.the.Seeker.S01E01 and the poster was found and stayed in place when the scanning was done.

I thought it could have something to do with the name of the release group, but the strange thing is that Sanctuary.S01E01.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION worked with no problem, while the release group is just the same

Hi Lordy, I just installed version (clean) 0928-2b and I got a strange problem. I cannot get os to see more the 28 movies out of 87, no matter what I try, rescan new, rescan all, I always have 28 movies. The previous version had 86 movies counted.

I have also tried to uninstall os and install it again, also tried deleting the index.db and rescanning but nope, nothing helping me get past the magic number 28..

Any ideas ?

Huh, this is weird. I can see the stuff now, that dissapeared when my scanning was finished. Maybe I had to "walk in" the new Oversight. Smile

I also had this problem but that was using my old index.db (pre 20090928-1b). I've started with a fresh index.db and so far so good.

Love the delisting

Lordy, did you see my query about the scan option radio buttons (they aren't mutually exclusive)

Yeah I think something is not right somewhere.

I think it is the pruning...

If anyone experiences similar issues can they also send the 'index.db' file along with the logs and names of missing files

unpak + catalog logs send for 1 dl.

I am using the latest version.
My scan request start after I reboot the PCH.
Otherwise it stays in "Catalog update..." status.
(I've waited for 25-30 minutes before rebooting)

is this normal ?

In addition to the problem with stuff disappearing, I've also noticed that I cannot mark TV episodes as watched anymore. I can mark an entire series but when I try to mark an individual episode, I can select the checkboxes but the only button at the bottom is the "cancel" button (no "mark" button). This used to work before the 0928-1b update.

None of my movies with names consisting of or starting the title with a number apears in the jukebox right now.

Example

100 Girls
12 Angry Men
300

Hope this ain´t too big of a problem to fix...

@mrmrmrmr - no its not normal. Have you installed anything else since?

I don't have anything installed on my PCH pther than Oversight.
How can I check/troubleshoot this problem further ?

It's weird now my internal hard drive movies in the poster list is gone, I tried re-scanning it but it wont fix it. Also it only allows 97 movies to be listed in oversight, nothing more and nothing less I have more then that.

This is what I have in my scan_paths :

"/share/Video,/share/Movies,/share/Tv,/share/Complete,/USB_DRIVE_A-1"
