Anyway, you can go into service menu (search the Internet for the code from RC) and adjust the screen size for the particular input. Don't do it if you are not experienced in this. You can completely disable your telly.

Dear All,

I have a problem with this firmware with NMJ, everytime i start it it says "Internet connection not available Video scan resuly may not be accurate"

It's really strange since my internet (wireless) connection is working properly.. I have installed the youtube app--> no problem, Internet radio --> no problem, Downloading from usenet --> no problem.

I have tried a couple of types of wireless lan setttings (after changing them in my router ofcourse). Even with no security the message remains the same.. "connection not available"

If i start the movie wall, information about the movie is there, but no pictures.

So my internet connection works perfectly just not for the NMJ.. any setting i am missing or what could be my problem?

I hope someone can help me out here, I would love to get it working!

I tried putting my DVD iso on an USB and access it with the new firmware, it still don't work.

Then I tried making the iso file from DVD with an other program to see if that makes any difference, it's still the same. now I can't even load the movie it just goes black screen then returns to the file listing windows.

So the conclusion is, the NMJ looks pretty awesome, but with the new firmware you can't play any of your iso's.

divx, avi, mkv files are working quite okay, no problem there.

we're looking at the firmware from "may 2010" that's stable in playing ISO files, so i'd advice people with DVD iso to make a firmware rollback as well, that it seams plaing ISO files has been ignored the last few firmware updates or not taken seriously enough.

go out of the nmj tom play iso, have the same problem with nmj, just play them without using nmj. There is probably a fix for this later on

Just so I'm clear...even with this new firmware, the NMJ updater process will still scan through all the titles in its database, right? The only change is that its updating phase will only select the items that have changed?

Good point. I don't think I'll risk it!

A-200 in Moovika fanless case, with 27 May 2011 firmware. Samba network shares from PC (Win 7 Pro 64 bit) and QNAP TS-419P+ Turbo NAS via Netgear DGND3700 ADSL router. Connected to 32" CRT via s-video. Set to 720p 50Hz for NMJ to work, but have abandoned NMJ.

@ Werner I already posted it in the bug section, but it annoys me that 29.97 fps material will be displayed at 60.000 hz instead of 59.94 hz.

I have activated frame sync pal/ntsc/24p

would you guys fix this bug? thank you

This must be a bug: I've got a couple of albums and when I edit some ID3tags, because of a album name and I start a update database, the NMT says verifying database..... after FAR to much time, the updating is done. When I go back to the music section, the 'removed' album name is still there!!!!....??? why is it / what does verifying database......??

The same happends for the artist name...

The strange thing is: When I edit the name of a tv serie, whitch was wrong shown (as strange movies in stead of a tv serie) the strange movies are gone........ why is it posible on the movie section and not on music....? Lookt like the same functionality to me....

What I was hoping what was fixed in this release is the time it takes to show some music covers when I enter the music section.... It seams strange... the device can verify / update the database while playing a movie (both are 'heavy' for the device I think...) but showing some jpeg's on the screen takes more than a minute......

They dont have a license for truehd downmix the best they can do is play the interleaved ac3 track that some truehd tracks have but not all.

I have the Popcorn Hour WN-150.

My wireless networking no longer works. Connection in the Network panel says "Not available".

My wireless networking used to work before the firmware update.

My wireless network is detected in the scan (and set to broadcast).

I have Automatic IP selected because I want to use DHCP.

I have Auto DNS servers selected but I see two unknown DNS servers in the fields that are disabled to entry. 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 (a quick Google search reveals these are the IP addresses to use if you want to use OpenDNS; I never input those numbers)

I have tried using rebooting my router, using the wireless manual IP setting, changing DNS servers, rebooting the device, unplugging the USB network adapter, unplugging the power from the A-200, re-entering the wireless password, etc.

During all of that, Connection in the Network panel changed to "Connecting", but then changed back to "Not available".

I have this problem also. i use mac filtering and i see my ssid but no connection anymore.

I saw the blue activiaty indication LED of the Popcorn Hour WN-150 blink a few times.

The MAC address shown for Wireless and Wired connections is the same.

I do not have any MAC address filtering on my router.

I have also this problem but i use mac filtering everything is ok but no connection after firmware upgrade

I also had this problem, this is what i did to resolve it:

I first set my A-200 wireless setting to No security and save it.(selected my WLAN network)
Then i set it back to WPA TKIP (my router setting) and ofcourse re-entered the password, after this it connects without any problem.. Maybe the password is not remembered correctly or something.

I hope this also helps for you.

It did not worked.i selected my wireless the wpa2 tkip was on with empty password. selected no security and choose save. After that selected my wireless again and entered password. Then save.
Status was connecting and if i choose save on tap it goes to not available.
