Too bad the solution for the mp3 playback issue is not mentioned in the release notes, though i have heard it takes longer for the behaviour to appear (=improvement). I have to wait for the a110 firmware too find out.

The Firmware update system claims that no updates are available? I have the correct firmware version for updating to this one.
Never updated from USB before, guess is the right time to start.

Awesome, noticed the issue with mp3 playback yesterday, but thought it was caused by my network... Now it seems to be fixed, fantastic.

Loaded Firmware 01-17-110314-15-POP-402 and I am finding this is the best firmware release ever for the A-100. For my major purpose, playing M2TS and MKV copies stored on two different HP WHS this firmware plays without any video stutter or audio interruptions. It now streams and plays more reliably than my C-200.

Probably a stupid question, but where can I find older firmware releases? And is there a guide howto upgrade firmware via USB?

Edit2: Installed the new firmware. VIDEO_TS playback seems ok. Hope nothing else broke ;-)

Finally upgraded from 01-17-091202-15-POP-402 (network upgrade, automagically selected 01-17-101217-15-POP-402 to upgrade to first), and so far, after only limited testing, things seem to work OK...

aha, didn't know that the network upgrade would pick the previous firmware release first. So my actions with a USB stick were not necessary...

Neither did I, but I figured I'd just try and see if it would. If not, I could simply not agree to the update, and perform a manual upgrade after all.
But it would have been nice if this info had been mentioned in the announcement...
