NAS or something else I need?

I would like to be able to
• access files via android mobile and via web interface
• run sabnzbd
• 4 index folders on it for my pch-A110
o My HD movies
o Kids HD Movies
o My HD TV series
o Family HD TV series
• Photos – index and playable via PCH-A110
• Music – index and playable via PCH-A110
• Expandable and safe

Current Setup:-
I have a PCH-A110 with a 1TB internal drive and a 2TB external USB drive. I have an index page on the internal drive that has links to all my sections (2 movies pages, 2 TV pages, photos and music – not used much for photos{very slow for photos} and music). After a rip a movie on my pc, I copy it to the internal drive over my network and then run YAMJ all from my pc.

Would Like:-
Access its files from anywhere at any time via, a pc, my laptop, my Android phone, as well as stream movies, TV series, photos and music to my PCH-A110 (and to my Android mobile - not sure if this is possible).
RAID 1(not to sure about this) but presume I loss half my disk space, but I do not loss my data unless all drives fail at the same time. Can live with RAID 0 until I can afford (all) the additional drive(s). As a result I presume this is a NAS I am looking for?

Liked the idea of WHS, but from what I have read the new version is not very good.

Is this possible and can anyone recommend a NAS?
Recommend a good site to find out more information about this?
