eversion is just the interface.. yamj makes up all the data and index...

Note some users like using an nfo manager like ember media manager which supports sets. See the other yamj forum and recent discussions on ember for where the most current version is and how to set it up for yamj to help you out.

Can i make another question ??? In many samples Photos of Eversion menu i saw pictures from the actors. How can i make this.
I have a folder "People" inside the folder Juckbox with many photos of them but i cant saw them inside the cast menu, only text with tha name.

Can you help me ???

for best performance, it's best to do them via overlays with yamj.. They look pretty close to some new overlays rezurfer made. check out http://forum.dentedboxes.com/thread-1366-post-6694.html

Is there a way to autofix eversion to the TV? right now I'm having issues with my 1080p m86 Samsung tv 42", that it doesnt show everything. There is more eversion outside of the TV's border that eversion generates. Is there an easy fix for this?

Until I tried YAMJ I didnt realise my Samsung in 16:9 mode overscans as default

You need to go into the picture setup mode and select screen fit which gives you 1:1 mapping

If your tv cant be adjusted which is the right way remember if eversion is getting cut off so are your movies, then go into the esettings file in eversion and set overscan to true

I'll check esettings but the wierd thing is its just eversion, yamj html skin works great. The Popcornhour main disply works great etc.

Because the default screen and old html accounted for the overscan loss, i think it was AEON even had the tool with it to account for the overscan settings, Eversion pushes everything to each corner So you notice it and all the skins programmed for edge of screen type stuff not account for 5% loss on overscan tv's

A quick google search and your M86 does have a just scan mode... don't confuse people making there interface to avoid the edges of the screen with your tv not in overscan mode distorting the tv image by stretching it.. Go into the settings, if it's like the newer samsungs where you see the mode 16:9, 4:3, etc one of those options should be scan or just scan.. That's the no overscan 1:1 pixel mode..

It will result it better quality images on everything including your movies if you disable it on the tv.. using the option in eversion should be considered a last resort. There are cases like a plasma where burn in requires a minor overscan to protect the screen or some tvs don't allow no overscan on analog inputs like component.

It would also be very worthwhile for everyone to learn about how to adjust your home setup for best possible video and audio output.. Lots of instruction on this but probably the best place to start if you never did it is the old HD Nation video podcasts before it merged with tekzilla. Episode 56 is part 1 of 4 of the series of how to calibrate your setup and why you want to.. They should have show notes with links to better resources also: http://revision3.com/hdnation/hdcalibration is part one, use the NEXT button to get to episodes 57-59 for all 4 parts..

Taking a look at those covers, have anyone know the settings used to get them to work with the default fullwall 8x3 thumbnails?

Im currently trying to get them to work but the images always seem to display bigger than needed..
