I just wanted to say I looked into all settings and for some reason the Audio settings for DRC were set to on.
Switched it to off and no more jerkiness but not before I rolled back the firmware. I will retry this tomorrow and hopefully all will be well.

I have already filed support ticket.
This is frustrating, I can't access my NAS using the recovery firmware. I'm stuck with the recovery firmware. I hope someone can help while waiting on the support's reply.

MKV: Embedded vob/idx lowres subtitles do not work anymore.
Older FW works OK.

I had the same issue, did it load the recovery FW?
after the recovery I loaded the new FW from USB and it upgraded OK...

It would be helpful if you could describe at what % the ERR075 is shown.

just tested by myself tha mkv embedded subtitles doesn't work, out of sync even when not fast forwarding, please fix this bug syabas :-) for all the rest everything is ok

I get a "NaN" error when I browse the video directory, this bug I already had in the previous version but itsn´t resolved in this firmware update.

it's shown in the end and the box will look for a recovery USB stick after reboot.

Is the MKV/PGS sub sync error really caused via the DTS passthrough setting? I wasn't aware of that, must have missed that reading through most A-300 issues.
Do you know then, if this really has been confirmed by Syabas?

I'll be upgrading tonight when I get home from work. Hopefully BD ISO playback is a little more reliable now, and I get some kind of BD menu. Fingers crossed!

(at the moment, my BD ISO playback is a little sporadic - in that many movies will "stutter" every couple of minutes or so - and I seem to be having no luck whatsoever accessing any kind of menu on a full ISO BD copy - mostly I copy just the main movie, but on some discs, eg Aliens, where there are two quite different versions of the movie, I did a full copy hoping that I'd be able to select between the two of them, but so far that's not working at all)

After last update i had to recover the A-300 and it was on factory settings with audio all downmix. Subs are working better with audio on downmix but thats not an option for me.I have my subs now on auto Dutch so its in the movie from the start which first giving me the black screen but thats gone i think. if you change subs in the movie manual you notice that it stops for about 2 seconds and the time it freezes is the time the subs are out of sync.
This bug realy sucks and need to be fixed ASAP.
Not again 3 months because then the A-300 is leaving my house.
Its not the cheapest device and a lot of people aren't buying the A-300 because of the sub bug so Syabas open you're eyes if you still want to sell popcornhours next year.

a question about networking, anyone knows why if I copy a movie from the pop to a win 7 pc I get an average speed of 10 MB/s while if I copy a movie from the pc to the pop I get only 200 KB/s??? this is a very strange issue... hope someone could help

All the bugs I had generally seem to be fixed - screensaver error, as well as the failure to pick up from the "last scene played". BD ISOs seem to play okay without any problems - EXCEPT if it's a full ISO BD rip. They stutter along rather annoyingly, so I think for the time being I'll just make ISOs of the main movie, rather than the whole disc.

Hi I've been streaming around 6 BD50's without stutter at all.
So I would expect it's somewhere in your network configuration.
