Hello all,

have a ioBox here and wondering if someone could help with a small issue.

I recently wanted to put a hard drive inside, and am having no success in getting this work and think the unit may be faulty.

I have now tried 3 drives - a mixture of 2.5" disks and 3.5" disks, and have tried a combination of brand new drive out the box, and also drives newly formatted to NTFS and EXT3 on a different PC - only 1 drive has ever been recognised as installed by the machine, and this was only temporarily (it then crashed the unit when trying to format it through the menu system) - all the others don't even get recognised (i.e. under the maintenance menu there is no setup wizard etc. appearing) and they don't appear in the menu list of drives.

I can get the unit to function absolutely fine over the network and with a USB drive
I think it must be something hardware related as I've tried downgrading the firmware + the latest firmware, and still can't get it to function.

any ideas what to try next?
