When transferring large files (in this case, a 15 GB mkv) via SMB from OS X (Lion) to 2TB internal NTFS formatted drive (secondary drive; primary 1TB 2.5" SATA drive has NMT Apps) leads to all drives (internal and USB) to be inaccessible after only a couple GBs are transferred.
The only way to regain access to all drives is by power cycling all USB drives and the PCH. Bug is reproducible 100% of the time. Transfers via FTP of the same file to the same drive works error free, so this appears to negate a possible power supply issue. SETUP: C-200, June FW, 1TB 2.5" internal (w/NMT Apps), 2TB 3.5" internal (NTFS), 2x2TB USB drives (self-powered), no third-party apps installed. TOMY: The Only Mac YAMJ GUI, now for Windows too! Both available here. |
