RE: DTS audio drop outs
I have to say this problem just started happening to me in the last 2 months or so, perhaps starting when I installed the latest FW. It used to be in a very few movies but now it happens a lot.
It may also be more noticeable from when I started using audio through HDMI and not through the optic connection and set DTS-HD output. This is very annoying! The dropouts happen to me in more and more mkv files but still not in all of them. What is the best way to handle it? Convert to m2ts? This is not much fun, to convert each MKV I plan to watch. I will also try to set output to DTS and not DTS-HD, who knows it may help. Addition: Read a few pages back that it happens with optical connection as well, so not sure why I noticed this problem only about 2 months ago. I always played DTS MKV so not sure. Maybe the problem is in the latest FW? Or maybe it has to do (as said before) with 1536 kbps DTS. Maybe most files I had in the past were 1509 kbps DTS. I really hace no idea why now it happens to me and in the past it didn't. PCH A110 / External 250 GB WD passport / Mitsubishi HC 5500 projector |
