RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Running NZBget 0.6.0-r291 from SourceForge, this version also crashes but it restarts itself and continues where it left off. I queued a 12Gb 1080p MKV to download and it crashed (the NZBGet application NOT PCH UNIT) just before the end. It downloaded about 11Gb before it crashed in about 3 hours. The download did complete so there isn't a problem with me. Download speed are OK with this version, my average is 1311KB/s and it peaks at 1500KB/s. This is with 6 connections without SSL, with SSL on PCH, I lose around 40% due to overheads on the CPU. My PC would stay at 1600KB/s with SSL on 8 connections.
I would like to know why the application crashes after several hours of download activity? (Can anyone shed some light on this?) Current Status.... NZBGet version 0.6.0-testing uptime: 1d 15:23:13 download time: 0:07:29 average download rate: 1311 KB/s total downloaded: 574.00 MB free disk space: 811.2 GB uptime should be somewhere around 3 days, but like I said it crashed and restarted itself. |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Anyone got any clue why the changes made in settings.php5 doesn't take? I'm trying to get free space to work, but even if I change to the correct line in settings.php5 it still says 0MB. And if I go into the config-option in the web interface, it still says /home/user/nzbget/dst on CheckSpaceDir. Also, I can't save the settings there, when I try to save settings trough the web interface I just get an empty "NZBGet Web Interface - Settings"-page. Please help

Check permissions on the 'nzbgetweb' folder. Ensure its not 'root' as the owner and it's 'nmt', I had this problem before.

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Code: File: nzbgetwebHm, after checking the owner of settings.php5 was root/root. But changing the owner to nmt didn't help, the settingt done in telnet doesn't apply, and I cant save settings from the web interface. BTW, I'm using an Istar 1.1 and 0.6.0 is installed trough the commuity installer. Another update: the settings.php5 doesn't look anything like the settingstemplates, but rather than afile from the older version. Could this be the issue? And if that is the case, could I just copy & rename the template-file to settings.php5 and try with that? Here we go again: After doing like I wrote in my last post, the settigs made in the config-file actually works. But I still can't save settings from the web interface. Well, main-problem solved atleast

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Strange. I did a reinstall (of NZBGet and NZBGet Web Interface) on Friday via Telnet and not using CSI, the only app I have running is TVNZB. I can save via Web Inteface where as previous version installed from CSI, just froze when you clicked 'save changes'.

Please try the binary from this thread - Experimental statically linked binary. It might work better, but I do not have any feedback yet. |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
I have installed NZBGet 0.6.0 at a friend with the latest unpak.sh script, but when i got to the webservice i only see the following options:
Code: COMMUNICATION WITH NZBGET-SERVERShouldn't there be more? I have a second section in the menu in my nzbget webinterface at home, should be the same version though... what could be wrong?

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Finally got it working
![]() I'd only added my newsgroup server config info to the new nzbget.conf and didn't realize there were other differences I needed to change. I installed 'NZBget 0.6.0-test2' from the CSI which now shows on the web interface as ''Version 1.3 testing3' and updated that with 'nzbget-0.6.0-bin-static-mipsel' Didn't know there was now a Scheduler, this I noticed after updating the 'nzbget.conf.example' Looking good - Will update in the morning after a scheduled overnights download session. ![]()

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
To edit server settings in web-interface options "ServerConfigFile" and "ServerConfigTemplate" must be set in web-interface on page "COMMUNICATION WITH NZBGET-SERVER".

Or do i need to install 'nzbget-0.6.0-bin-static-mipsel' ? |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
The 'nzbget.conf.example' that comes with 'nzbget-0.6.0-bin-static-mispel' from http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=20254 I also copied to the '.nzbget' folder. This 'server config template' is selected in the 'COMMUNICATION WITH NZBGET-SERVER' section on the web interface.
I'm assuming by setting this, the extra configuration sections are made active. |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Well my schedule worked - Started 9pm, paused 10am. Actually, I had to set them an hour out as it's not running on GMT+1. Need to work out how to change that.
It hasn't crashed, uptime of 12hrs+, but I seem to be suffering from slow downloads again. I thought I'd sorted this yesterday, but looks like I haven't. Averaging 300kb/sec, should be 800+kb/sec as I'm using SSL. Used to be 1100_kb/sec without SSL. Will experiment tonight without SSL and tinker with the channels. Currently on 6. Any higher and the web interface becomes un-responsive. I used to have this set to 8 on previous versions without any lag. Is there any way you can reboot your PCH via the web interface - I can see that there's a setting for 'ServerStartCommand', but is this only executed when the server is started or can you send commands to it remotely. I'm currently at work and can access my Web Interface, but some of the changes require a re-start before the changes take effect. |

RE: [nzbget] NZBget 0.6.0 FINAL + nzbget webinterface 1.3
Finally sorted.
Downloaded GerTeunis manual installer from post#1 Downloaded the nzbget-0.6.0-bin-static-mipsel.tar.gz Extracted the .tar from the manual installer and replace the 'nzbget' and 'nzbget.conf.example' from the static-mipsel Copied to my PCH and using telnet recreated the .tar Manually installed following GerTeunis instructions on post #1 Scheduler working and back to full speed downloading. ![]() Anyone know how to set the time correctly for daylight saving? It the moment, I'm having to set the schedules 1 hour behind. |

(04-08-2009 04:39 PM)Patient Wrote: date +%T -s "HH:MM: SS" Thanks, but when you reboot the PCH, it resets back to 1hr behind. I've even set my ntp to 'uk.pool.ntp.org' with 'GMT+0' and 'Daylight Saving' enabled. Only the time still shows as 1 hours behind. If I change the setting to 'GMT+1', then the time is 1 hour in front of the correct time. There's a couple other posts earlier in this thread asking about the time settings. It ain't a problem, just you have to take this into account when reading the logs or setting a schedule. One last query. Whats the Newzbin feature. I have a Newzbin account but normally load up my PCH via the Web Interface or PCHLauncher app. Regarding the extra config details, you have copied the 'nzbget.conf.example' that comes with the 'nzbget' from the 'static-mispel' haven't you. You'll also need to ensure the permissions are correct. |
