RE: [CSI] *** UPDATED *** Community Software Installer 2.1.0 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
Ger Teunis
thanks for your reply. in the CSI the description is: "Will install smartmon tools, for S.M.A.R.T info on HDDs binaries will be installed in /share/.bin folder (next to busybox binaries)" after install, i check the /share/.bin and /share/bin, both directories don't exist. maybe it's installed elsewhere, i don't know where it is installed. finally i find where it is installed. it's installed in /share/Apps/Telnetd/bin it's so deep, hehe, i don't know why it's installed in the telnetd directory. thanks anyway. |

RE: [CSI] *** UPDATED *** Community Software Installer 2.1.0 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
Can I use CSI for installation apps. from WAN?
I have router with port-forward settings for FTP - WAN port 5521-> LAN port 21 Server settings in CSI - Server <WAN IP>:5521 Does CSI supports alternate port number in server name? I see window with error - "Insallation failed, please check server settings..." |

(12-23-2008 04:30 PM)Ger Teunis Wrote: Download I agree with that. Donators deserve the right to have an incentive. But what about allowing maintainers and developers to download too? I mean, we also support the repository with our work. Also downloading newer versions allow us to test our packages better. This is a modest proposal, and should be understood like that. It's not a demand or such stuff. I really appreciate what are you doing and your amazing project. Also I want to apologize for not updated aMule to the new format already. I'm being busy last weeks with my final career project. Anyway, I succeed updating amuled without problems, but I'm stuck with amuleweb. I can't force it to find the web templates at the new path. By the way, let me post a message for the forum users: Quote:If you can help me compiling aMule versions or updating aMule to the new CSI pakage, send me a PM or post at aMule threat http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=19905 because i only do that for you! I don't use aMule in my own PCH, because I prefer transmission and bittorrent network instead of aMule and ed2k network. Finally, I want to ask to you for the vmware image build environment. It would help me a lot trying to compile aMule 2.2.4 Regards. |

RE: [CSI] *** UPDATED *** Community Software Installer 2.1.0 (Windows/Linux/OSX)
Maybe covered, but any reason that the "start, restart, and uninstall" buttons are all greyed out for every Apps, Themes, etc, etc?
I can connect to the PCH, but can't install anything with CSI. |

I don't know where to download 2.1.5.0 for OSX With 2.0.1 I have some problems, actually I can't use it at all on OSX: I can connect to my HDX and see which packages are installed. But whenever I try to install an app with CSI I get the spinning wheel of death and have to kill the process. It never comes to an end. Also I have to enter the IP address and password every time I start CSI. On my Windows laptop everything works fine. Opening the firewall on OSX didn't help. I have the newest version of mono (2.4_7) installed on OSX 10.5.7. How can I find out what's wrong? |

Version 2.1.5 should fix that. We'll have to wait for Lundman to create a new DMG package which contains the 2.1.5 version. You could also download 2.1.5 portable edition and start "Start Linux.sh". First you need to set the execute bit on it. Easy way of installing software on your NMT using just your mouse: NMT Community Software Installer |
