RE: Oversight Jukebox V20090903-1b
Rebooted the A-100 and as long as I dont make a connection with the A-110 it works. As soon as I make a connection I get the segmetation fault.

RE: Oversight Jukebox V20090903-1b
Hi, if you get a 'segmentation fault' can you also see it in your browser?
IF so, can you do view->page->source and cut & past the output into a post or email along with your index.db file. Apologies but I'll get to the bottom of it - one of the occupational hazards of writing from scratch in C ![]() Thanks Philos, I didnt check the Cross-Link too thoroughly - I'll do that before the next release. I'm planning a quick bugfix release tonight to fix the text mode issues and will check CrossView at the same time. If you need to revert to earlier version in the mean time see earlier post - or use NMT file browser

Thanks.
I've put up a new version that fixes the text mode formatting and an unpacking issue. I'll look at the seg faults now... Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

RE: Oversight Jukebox V20090904-2b - with dynamic genre menus - more pull-downs to come..
Hi new version 20090904-4BETA is up. Hopefully this is more stable than the last beta!
I checked the CrossView is still working (fixed a few bugs there) and made sure it works with an empty index file. + CPU Load is back Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

I think I posted on the wrong thread.
Some errors still persist. Downloads zero size images and seems to start a random movie when I turn on the nmt from standby. |

Hi are all images zero or just a few? Movies or TV? Do you have and example filename? I'm getting downloads OK here?
If you have 0 size images check the date on the image is earlier than the last upgrade. If so try deleting and rescan. (I need an option to rescan a single folder - but this is more important for troubleshooting/beta testing I think) There should be anything on Oversight that thats a random movie playing at switch on? Closest I can think of is if you started a movie from the PC, then that page may cause the movie to play again? So if you just press standby twice a random movie starts?? This shouldnt cause the oversight page to reload. What other apps do you have installed? Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

I am actually doing fresh installs on every version so I know the images are not from the last version. I just sent you the log and index files. Its only movies and that too, some are not even recognized despite the nfo files. Not sure what the problem is, but I am sure I will get to the bottom of it. Only some movie images are zero and some movie images are fine. Fanart is working too. My other guess is, is it timing out downloading the images? My internet is kinda slow these days, so I am wondering if that might be causing it. The starting movie thing is really weird. It never seems to fail. I dont have any other apps installed besides telnet. I know its Oversight cause when I stop it, it give me three options on the top left. Movie name, then back to Oversight and back to home. I have never seen that screen in regular operations either. So not sure where it is coming from either. Also It would be good to display the Movie title in the details page instead of the filename. |

OK I though it was the problem the TV images. Well the TVDB image issue is fixed now anyway! I'll look at you logs soon.
The Screen you are seeing occurs when you click on a film link via the PC. What could be happening is if you are clicking on a lot of links from your PC I *think* the NMT buffers them up , and tries to play through them in order. In that case you can either stop clicking the links or disable the 'tv_play_via_pc' feature.

You only get the filename if it is not recognised as a movie. I think this is related to your other issue which I suspect is IMDB timeouts? Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

Can you increase the query timeout?
I seem to be getting more movies with every scan, so I can concur with your theory. |

RE: Oversight Jukebox V20090904-4b - with dynamic genre menus - more pull-downs to come..
Only by editing the catalog.sh file directly. I though I sent an email - just in case ...
=============== I can see a lot of errors when it is trying to get content from IMDB. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. This may be a network issue? Are you running torrents or anything like that which may be causing timeouts? If you can, edit the catalog.sh file. Search for the text --waitretry=1 -t 2 and change it to --waitretry=4 -t 4 and see what happens. Also may sure you do not have any torrents running anywhere on your network. Or have restricted their upload bandwidth. =================== Oversight: Jukebox | FeedTime: Automatic nzbs |

RE: Oversight Jukebox V20090904-4b - with dynamic genre menus - more pull-downs to come..
Hi
I will try the change. I did turn off all the computers in the house ( 5) and it detected 30 out of 35 movies. So it is certainly bandwidth. But I am not sure if the code would be ideal in that case. No offense. YAMJ etc also use the same bandwidth. Maybe something in the way you are calling it. Can you break the wgets into separate segements? One for ID and several for image calls? Not sure how the code is written but that will definitely help the CPU of the nmt as well. I will try your changes next. |
