090729 firmware
Hi,

I just received my C-200 today and the firmware is at the 090722 version. I haven't been able to update to the 090904 version and after reading through some threads it appears that I need to update first to the 090729 version. However, I've been searching and searching through various threads and have not been able to find a download link for the 090729 version. Can somebody please take pity on a noob and point me in the right direction?

thanks.

Thanks.

Sorry I'm kinda slow I guess. I should have read your post better before replying as I see from your instructions that the 090813 file has the 090729 firmware in it also. Thanks!

RE: 090729 firmware
You should not have to install 090813 I think - for me it was enough to install 090729 and then go straight to 090404

I already went from 090722 to 090729 to 090813 before I saw your message. Thanks for trying. I have now gone to 090904 successfully. Thanks Spawn, Willem and Cheaper for all the help.

RE: 090729 firmware
I went directly to popcornhour website to download the latest firmware, not the Beta version. Please go here:

http://www.popcornhour.com/download/C200...-C200.html

Be patience at 12% progress since it pause for a while.

Also, you should choose update from USB drive. Choosing online update won't work.

RE: 090729 firmware
To clarify, that firmware is not a stable. It is the same beta as is being discussed here, 02-01-090904-19-POP-408.

No stable firmware has been released yet for the C-200.

RE: 090729 firmware
Oh, I see. It's just that the file from the popcornhour site doesn't have "beta" on the file name and the file size is bigger.

Thanks for reporting. The second link is fixed now.

Anyway, the second link is to 090904, the latest firmware, so if you already have that you won't need to download it again.

RE: 090729 firmware
We were told that it would be possible to update straight to 0904 and if you can then you should do this. If it doesn't work then try 0729. If that works and then you cannot update to 0904 then try 0813.
If 0729 doesn't work then redownload your files in case they are corrupted and ensure that you start from scratch with the reformat of your USB stick to FAT32. Look at the USB stick when you open it on a PC to ensure that there are no folders.
Then insert the USB stick and follow the instuctions in the README from the download.
