@EJP, but this is happening to all my movies. Should I use a different version of YAMJ? Before this I was about 3 versions earlier before your "Cleanup" Releases and the same movie was showing up as 1080P. I am sorry for being a pain in the ass.

Sure, but it's pointless because the NMT renders HTML in 720p regardless of your output settings.

What would happen is you would see the 1280x720 upper-left portion of the fanart.

You can do that, but what you should really do is log it as an issue, or see if it exists: http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/issues/list

Is this for TV shows or for movies?

If it's for movies, the default function is to look for the company name in the filename. Ex: Warner Bros. Pictures.png. If it doesn't exist, then a blank square would show up. It doesn't know to use the Unknown flag.

In this case, if you don't want to look for the studio flag, make a copy of the 1x1.png into the studios folder, and rename that copy to Warner Bros. Pictures.png. That way, the skin can find it, but it'll show a transparent 1x1 pixel.

If it's for TV shows, then the default function should use unknownstudio.png.

Because in your Lowlist view i did not got that problem, if the studio didn't exist it shows a transparent 1x1 pixel.

You have to do it to every single movies that don't find the Studio flag? Or you did another thing else.

It's hard to me because i got many movies without studio flags, because that aren't very well knowned...

Actually, you're correct. In the default LowList, it'll just show a blank space*.

I figured Sabish would've just copied over the same code, but perhaps not.

(*The way this works it that the studio flag is actually the background image of that space. If the studio flag doesn't exist, then just a blank space will show because it's a background image. A background image that doesn't exist will actually be transparent. It's not actually a transparent pixel. Sabish might have missed this in the coding because it's an odd way to go about doing it.)

was only wondering because NMT Server does it so i just assumed yamj already got this info and it is the skin that is not implementing the already existing data.

What piece of metadata are you referring to? The source (Blu-ray, DVD, etc)? Or something else?

If it's the source we're talking about, I don't see how MediaInfo can extract that information if the filename is something like "300.avi". I don't know. I've been out of the encoding game for a long time -- maybe it is possible.

The year is also a filename tag YAMJ can use, but I always thought this was just to assist the scraper. I don't know if it actually ever gets put into the resulting XML.

The only other filename tag YAMJ can use, that I know of, is the language. This, I'll give you because audio tracks are typically tagged with a language during encoding, especially for multiple audio tracks. If it's a single audio track, sometimes I don't see a language tagged. However, the audio track language is used differently in YAMJ. It gets put into the audioCodec portion of the XML. There is also a dedicated language entry in the XML that, I believe, can only come from the filename.

New to ÆON Movie Wall, I noticed that when scrolling thru the wall pages/screens, past page #8 I no longer get the see which movie is highlighted. I see the same symptom on both PCH A110 & A200. Running YAMJ r1317 & ÆON r1302 hosted on WHS, HP EX495, smb shares. Is this due the sotfware version?, share type I am using or a configuration on my part?.

Are you using popups? Default settings? Mods?

Also, you don't see it on anything past page 8? Page 9? 10? 11? How many pages do you have?

Can you check if, on page 8 (or I suppose any page after that), you can still use the Filter Bar on the top right (assuming you left it on)?

Can you also check to see if one or more of your movies on any of those "faulty" pages has a weird character in the filename? I'm talking apostrophes or ampersands or even quotations.
