I let YAMJ scrape the contents, based on a NFO file. It happens to al my movie, e.g. 2012, The Age of Stupid, Night At The Museum, and so on.

E.g. in the XML of Night at the Museum
Code:
<director>div class="info-content"</director>

Hope you can help.

You have to make sure you have companion content, or you can alter the code to disregard checking for companion content.

So what do you use to create your NFOs?

Give me an URL you're using so I can test it on my side.

Also, which YAMJ version are you using?

Make sure you're using the latest here: http://mediaplayersite.com/yamj_latest

Ok, so now I use the latest YAMJ and the issue with
Code:
<director>div class="info-content"</director>
is solved.

But I still don't have a clue as to how to use the companion pages.

Here's an URL I use (The Age of Stupid) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1300563/

Thanks

1st post updated.

========== Previous update for archival purposes ==========

Previous Version

Alaska YAMJ is a mimic of XBMC Alaska.

This skin was made possible by cprobert's mod of marcin77's Aeon Index HD (Home Menu), PPP's ppp3.1 (Popup Filtering), and all the beta testers.

Alaska YAMJ aims to provide the most elegant and beautiful movie-and-TV-show-browsing experience with super-simple-to-use navigation and the introduction of themes. Alaska YAMJ, in essence, is a completely new experience.

The default theme is "Night" (black with blue accents) so as to be kind on your flat panels and power bills. A true "Alaska" theme (white with off-white accents) will eventually be made for a "true" Alaska skin.

Please read the readme as this will tell you everything you need to know about this skin, from installation to to usage, customizing, themes, and limitations.

The only major function currently missing is support for MultiEpisode files. For example, if you have "24 S01E01E02E03E04.iso", you will only see one entry to play this file; you will not see individual episode details (title, plot, videoimage).

February 27, 2010 Update
I've logged all the issues and requests. However, for the time being, I will not be implementing major aesthetic changes. I'll start to consider it more once time frees up for me.

1) TV episode plots now get cut off so as to not push the flags down.

2) There was an issue with using the Parental controls with only 1 child. This issue even existed in the YAMJ default skin. This should no longer happen.

3) Number Pad navigation has been implemented into the Panel and Banner pages, similar to that of Robinsjexcal, the later excal skins, as well as ÆON. Originally, pressing a number (1-18) would highlight that thumbnail or banner. Now the Number Pad will navigate to a filter. For example, 887 spells "TVS", which corresponds to "TV Shows".

4) Better subtitle detection. Originally, the skin would only detect an XML subtitle tag of "YES". It should now support "YES / en / fr".

5) Youtube from the Home Menu now goes to http://andboson.net/yt/

6) In certain cases, movie information would not show up when hovering over thumbnails in the Panel. This would also cause Parental Options not to work. These cases almost always involved certain special characters in the file name. The skin should now account for this.

7) Movies with DTS-HD tracks would show both the "DTS-HD" and "DTS" flags. This should now only show "DTS-HD".

8) I've added the Date and Time to the Home Menu. Please read the _indexhomes_readme.txt for instructions on adjusting the time zone. I am considering adding the Date and Time all throughout the entire skin.

9 *FEATURED*) I've added a Companion Page to TV shows. Like the Companion Page for movies, this will show indexed filters as well as extras. To access this, from the 1st episode that loads upon entering the TV details for that show, press the LEFT directional button. A message will show that says to "Press 'ENTER' to access the Companion Page." Unfortunately, I could not use the "MENU" button to access the Companion Page, as it is for the movie Companion Page.

10) The "MENU" button in the TV details page had undesireable effects. The "MENU" button has been mapped to simply do nothing.

11) I've added genres to the Panel view. Genres was the only informational element missing, and since I wasn't happy with putting it in the movie Details page, I've decided to put it on the Panel.

That's all for now. Thank you for the support and feel free to post any issues, comments, suggestions, or questions.

This is my first time to use the Alaska-AEON Skin. I've been using the PPP2 for a long time and now I'm trying to venture into trying another skin. AEON seems to be very popular and a lot of you are raving about it, so I mustered the effort to follow the instructions in adopting this new skin.

I am very pleased with it. However, I'm wondering if anyone is having problem with the date-and-time on the indexhome1.html. If I use a normal web browser e.g. Firefox - the date and time is correct. However, in the PCH A200 itself - I get a date like Jan 1944.

In reading the _indexhomes_readme.txt - There is only an instruction on how to adjust the offset but no mention of the possibility of this problem. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

TIA
I don't know if you have already fix this trouble I finally fix it go to this link http://networkedmediatank.com/showthread...#pid373665 to the post 7950 Quad4 and you´ve got your answer.
bye.

Ok - This might be a really stupid question, but I am relatively new to YAMJ and don't think I fully understand it yet. I have managed however to install it and have Alaska running on my C200. It looks great ! and is exactly what the family will need to easily get their movies and TV on screen.

How do I get the fanart pictures to show in the background when I select a movie ? At the moment I only have the plain blue/black background (and the poster) and I can't seem to get it to work.

thx

YAMJ just has to find fanart. Once it does, then the skin can utilize it. (Movie fanart is enabled by default; TV fanart is disabled by default).

So it sounds like YAMJ is having trouble finding fanart, either locally on your computer or remotely from themoviedb.org.

Here's some fanart information: http://code.google.com/p/moviejukebox/wiki/Artwork

Thx - The fanart jpg's are already in my movie folders. I use Yanfoe to sort out all my meta data (another great program). When I run YAMJ it isn't copying my "movie.fanart.jpg" file to the Jukebox folder. If I copy it manually over, I have found that it is now working fine. This is a bit of a pain for all my movies, do you know why this would be happening ?

I have a Problem with my indexhome1.html. I wanna link 2 other Shares in the Alaska Index. One worked perfectly, the other dont, these are my the Shares :
Code:
/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/Mp3sUp
and
Code:
/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/KiNO
.

My indexhome1.html looks like this :
Code:
var menu=[
"Other_Movies_1.html,MOVIES,movies.jpg",
"Other_TV Shows_1.html,TV SHOWS,tvshows.jpg",
"http://localhost.drives:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/KiNO/_yamj/Other_All_1.html,VIDEOS,videos.jpg",

];
Code:
Mp3sUP : "http://localhost.drives:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/Mp3sUp/?filter=1,MUSIC,music.jpg"
and
KiNO : "http://localhost.drives:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/KiNO/_yamj/Other_All_1.html,VIDEOS,videos.jpg",
In my Xvids folder I have another Jukebox stored, these link works liek a charm, When I click in my Index on Video, the other Share opens up, with the other Jukebox in it. When I click on Movies, My AEonAlaska JukeBox opens up, but when I click on Music, I got an Error, that I have to go back :/.

ejp - been trying to get the fanart thing sorted by looking at my Yanfoe and YAMJ settings but no luck. Today I rebuilt the jukebox with a different skin . I used ppp3.1. When using this skin the "movie.fanart.jpg" files were copied to the jukebox directly without a problem . So the problem must be caused by something in the Alaska skin and not Yanfoe or YAMJ.

So to summarise my problem is the movie.fanart.jpg's are not being written to the jukebox directory when I build a new jukebox. The only way I can get it to display fanart is to copy the jpg into the jukebox folder manually.

thx
Update ...... Downgraded to YAMJ 1.8 to try that and it worked, the fanart is copied to the jukebox folder. So Alaska does not copy the fanart properly with YAMJ 1.9, but works ok with version 1.8. Version 1.9 works ok with a different skin (as I said I tried ppp3.1).
