If I'm in 720p mode, then i'm ask to start a media scan, but if I accidently press the red button when I'm in PAL mode - well, that's when the A-200 gets stuck.

My old "big ass" CRT TV won't accept such thing, just PAL

I have the same problem. Also, the initial main screen "Media Tank Jukebox" is not correctly scaled in PAL mode on CRT TV-Set. Only a piece of the right upper corner of the picure is visible.

Too bad this firmware release seems buggy...

Isn't this the first firrmare for the a200 based on the new Software Develpment Kit version from SIGMA? Isn't the conversion from the old SKD to the newest SDK responsable for this "new" bugs that didn't exist in previous versions?

I still aint installed it but i'm planning on doing that during this weekend.

My TV is an old Sony widescreen CRT, nothing special. The A-200 apparently downscales the 720p video to standard definition PAL/NTSC for the s-video and composite outputs.

After updating to this firmware (from the previous released one) there are vertical (like one black/double) line every about 1/5 of the screen on my Sony 32" Bravia (HD Ready) LCD. The mode I was using previously with no problem was the 1080i/50, after seeing these lines I changed to 720p/50 and the vertical lines disappeared.

Still having the slow playback of DVD iso files from NAS. Should I have to change anything in the config op the A-200 or on my NAS to get back my iso playback as it was in May firmware ? Please help.

I try to install YOUTUBE under Apps after downloading about 62% Market and I get:
“Installation process failed. Please try again (11)”
And it don’t matter how many time I tried the same happens.
Any one has any idea what I am doing wrong?

Updated fine yesterday, started to transfer a new file over the network to the a200 and half way through i got a windows error message to a look at the a200 and even though the fan was whiring the device was not responsing and no led light showing. pulled the plug rebooted and succesfully transffered the file over, sat down to watch and 5 minutes in the picture cut off and the led light was off too so pulled the plug again rebooted and started to watch the same film and 10 minutes in bang same thing happened, had no probs with any of the previous firmwares

With this new update, i have problem seeing xvid videos (and other avi films too).

This function don´t work with this update on my A-200:

- Skip 30 sec forward
- Seeking time fuction
- Resume the from the last point.

¿anyone have this problem?

Can't play VIDEO_TS and MKV files from my NAS with this firmware. Need to put May firmware for recovering those playback.

Please someone to explain what's wrong with that update and Network play and why the old firmware May works ?

Just installed the new firmware and started to create the database (about 120 films). Works nice, only did it find 119 movies out of 121. Don't know why it didn't find the two. Know one of them. I renamed all movies with names which directly lead to a match on IMDB. For those who have diacritic characters in their name, I added a .nfo file.

Since the new firmware, all my 1080p films show artefacts in the busy bits, and the AAC track is now out of sync! I have not changed the films, and they were fine before!?

Is there some setting I need to tweak - video is currently set to 1080p 60Hz but I get the same using 720p...
