Since the update all the information like summary and actor names are gone. If I scan a individual movie again only the summary comes back. How can I solve this.

A long story short.
My C-200's PSU gave up and I bought a A-210 while I try to repair the PSU unit.
I got a problem with the A210.
With the C-200 all my Bluray discs that I've ripped to HDD worked with Dts HD or True HD
With the A-210 it isn't the case. Specially the Dts HD on "Heart Live in Seattle 2002" does not work... I only get regular Dts.
If I play the m2ts file inside the BD stucture on my older A-110 the Dts HD works but again the new A-210 doesn't. Even tried changing to mkv container but same again only Dts.

Any Ideas why they differ in function.

Not the place to discuss. Post in 200 series video or audio section. This thread is just to discuss the A200 firmware update.

I still have that DHCP problem. It does not seem to request a new IP if it for some reason has lost the old, like on startup. I have to either unplug and replug the networking cable or go to the networking settings, do some random change (I mostly change the speed from 10/100 to auto), save, revert the change, save again, to make it request a new IP.

so yes owners of C-200 can feel superior

Just been d/l full bd50 to check over last couple of weeks.

Avatar EE, Lord of the Rings EE, 2012, new Karate Kid - all work flawlessly.

They work for me. Do you have them turned on in your settings or is it set to play simple only? I have mine set to Prompt.

I updated my firmware over the weekend. Everything seemed to install fine. However, after the reboot no films play. I have tried all types, formats and sizes yet everything immediately switches back to the file overview. The files are stored on an internal HD, and they play fine directly when launched from a connected network PC.

Any advice on solving or restoring to my previous version of firmware?

Thats odd..

The Lord of the Rings EE blu ray doesnt work properly at my A210.
The 1st disk (Movie#1 part 1):
Play's the menu movie is loading but the menu icons are missing (cant set subtitles, or select scene) only pressing play starts the movie.

The 2nd disk (Movie#1 part 2):
Doesn't load at all, black screen (TS file is working..)

The 3rd, 4th disks (Movie#2 part 1,2):
Doesn't load at all, black screen (TS file is working..)

The 5th disk (Movie#3 part 1):
Plays the menu properly.

The 6th disk (Movie#3 part 2):
Doesn't load at all, black screen (TS file is working..)

Any ideas why ?!

^^ what versions. Check if your disc 5 is USA version. Seems the usa version contains one language you dont have to select one on start
