I found a Bug.

Firmware: Latest (December 2011)
Problem: MP3 genre is shown as number.

Description:
Let MP3-File FILE1.MP3 an MP3 file with *only* ID3v1-tag and genre "Rock" (encoded as 17 (see http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_der_ID3v1-Genres)).

1. delete nmj_database/media.db
2. create an folder DIR1 with file FILE1.MP3
3 start nmj and choose secial location and add DIR1 as music folder
4. start scan process if not start automatically
5. switch to music-jukebox and specially to genre-view

Now you see FILE1.MP3 listed in group 17.

halfelite, i'm not trolling, i'm showing my frustration!!! is different, the last firmware release is a mess! i can't use it because i can't watch any movie with it, and 1 month later, no one come here to gave an explanation?! thats sad mate....

I use the newest firmware just fine. My a300 totally replaced my c200. if you are having issues that are not the subtitle black screen then something else is wrong.

first a C300 firmware will come which should be this week, after that there is china new year so again a holiday for one week, then we will work on A-300 and Popbox V8 Firmware Release.

mate, the problem is really that (subtitle black screen) now tell me how can i use it, if i can't watch any movie?! and no one come here to tell the users anything. i'm Portuguese i need the subtitles to watch the movies/series/etc... my English isn't bad, but i can't follow the entire movie without the Subtitles, in some parts i will lose something... thats why i'm showing some frustration

paulo i need to ask them but as far as i know they fixed something with subtitles but not sure if it is the issue you are facing, but as i said in my last post i think it will still need a minimum of 3 weeks .

thank you werner, now thats something. the issue i have is, the movie is fine until the subtitles come up, when they appear (subtitles) i have a black screen and the movie just play on the background of the subtitles (weird) i quit using the last firmware, i'm using the October firmware, is the solution for me to watch my movies...
