[NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
Hi All,

First of all, I have installed the NMT apps on a seperate USB Flash Drive on my A-300. Everything is working fine except for NZBget. If I load an NZB via the webinterface is still says "server is sleeping". I have enable the logs but I don't see any errors.

Mon Apr 23 23:01:28 2012 INFO nzbget 0.6.0 daemon-mode

That's about it. Is there any way to install a newer version of NZBget manually on the A-300?
Or are there any standard procedures (other than the Wiki's I've checked and topics I have read) I can try?

Also, I have read somewhere, I can install The C200 version of sickbeard but how do I do that? And where can I find the necessary files?

RE: [NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
To install new Apps on the NMT you need to install CSI on your pc
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=41072

You need to select options for C200 as they dont have A/C300 (not unless they do now)

Once installed you will be able to install sickbeard, nzbget ect.. on your NMT

RE: [NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
I've tried that. And selected every option (C200 / A200) But when I want to install an app the programs says that I have to check my firewall because he cannot connect to the FTP server. If I use FileZilla I can connect fine to the A-300. Strangely enough CSI doesn't say the first time when I fill in my username and password that he can't connect just when I install a app. My os is Windows 7 X64. I had disabled the firewall and anti-virus but no luck. Is there something else I can try?

RE: [NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
When you enter setting, make sure you enter an ip address for the server NOT a name like C-300.

If that is not the problem than im not sure what else to suggest.

Have a look here and see what another user did with the same issue

I have changed the hostname to the correct ip-address. But that is not the problem I think. Because if I leave the hostname like PCH-200 it gives an error, obviously. But if I fill in the ip-address he will connect, so to say, to the PCH-A300. But after that he won't install. He just says that he can't connect to the FTP server. Is it possible that Windows 7 X64 is the issue?

RE: [NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
As a profile try to use the a-210usb since you have the NMt installed on USB stick. Before using csi, be sure a300 is viewable from your os.

The A-300 is visible from my laptop and my girlfriend's laptop. FTP (via FileZilla) is working and also via SMB (Samba) File Transfer. Also the Torrent en Usenet is working. Except for that Server is sleeping notice.

I have tried all profiles and the A-210 (USB) because I thought that was the one that most remsembles my A-300 setup with the NMT Apps on the USB Flash Drive.

OK I haven't tried this:

So will try that when I'm home after work.

I have found the FAQ:

Try the NMT's IP address instead of hostname in CSI's setup - OK
Start CSI from a local disk, not from network, no not even a mapped drive! - OK
Make sure you have an internal HDD and have it setup correctly (installed NMT Apps) - OK
Make sure you are on the latest firmware - OK
Make sure you have the FTP running on the NMT - OK
Disable all firewalls and other protection software - OK
A separate HDD for Media and Apps is NOT supported right now (both need to be on same HDD) - OK
Check hardware type in CSI's setup (Use USB variant when you use a attached USB drive) - OK
Remove "/Apps/AppInit" folder from your NMT's HDD and try again - OK
Remove any foreign files from the NMT's hdd top directory - OK
A 'tweaked' FTP server is not supported!
Use clean or Deep-clean from CSI (Extra -> Advanced -> Clean)
Reinstall NMT Apps (1st party) using instructions here.

RE: [NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
Strangest thing is that I cannot find the \Apps\Init folder. I have installed all NMT Apps on the USB Flash Drive. But is it possible to just disconnect that and plug it into my windows computer? Last time I did that I had to reïnstall the NMT Apps.

If I now setup the NMT CSI (Portable) to connect to a C-200 (USB) and fill in my A-300 ip and nmt and password, he connects. But then if I try to install software I don't get the FTP error anymore, instead I get NMT CSI Stopped Working error from Windows (7 X64).

How is that possible?

RE: [NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
I would reinstall nmt apps again just to br sure, then goto the apps config screen and enable(start) ftp, samba and what ever else you want. If you have a harddrive, unplug it untill you have setup the apps you want.

RE: [NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
OK so I have formatted the USB Flash Drive and reinstalled the NMT Apps. But now I get the FTP error again. Just to be sure I have booted into XP (dual boot). And on that OS there isn't any firewall or anti-virus present. But there I get also a FTP firewall error. Strange because here also it look likes he does connect at the beginning. Well if I can't fix CSI is there any way to install a new version of NZBget manually and if so how can I do that?

BTW this is the error in the log:

29-4-2012 15:39 Error WebException during install method of UploadInstaller De externe server heeft een fout geretourneerd: (550) Bestand niet beschikbaar (bijvoorbeeld bestand niet gevonden, geen toegang tot bestand). bij com.nmtinstaller.csi.Utilities.FtpCommands.UploadFolder(String server, String username, String password, String localFolder, String remoteFolder, UpdateProgressInfo OnProgressChange) in F:\Ger Data\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\NMTApplicationInstaller\trunk\Utilities\FtpCommands.cs:regel 336 - bij com.nmtinstaller.csi.Utilities.UploadInstaller.InstallThread() in F:\Ger Data\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\NMTApplicationInstaller\trunk\Utilities\UploadInstaller.cs:regel 153

EDIT:

See my post: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...#pid555799
I will test CSI again when I add the HP switch to my network tomorrow.

RE: [NZBGet] Server is sleeping A-300
Well I managed to solve the problem, with AND without HP Switch, due to personal problems I didn't have time to fix it until now.

I changed the priority of the news-server from 1 to 0 and now it works after rebooting the NZBget server.

O and for some reason CSI does work for me now. With and without the HP switch. Nothing has been changed in the past couple of months. Same laptop, same OS and same executable, beats me but glad it works now Smile
