This is what is going on with the f/w update for the bug ridden C-300. They said but didn't promise so all is well and case is closed.... Such poor customer service deserves to be made public. There are a lot of issues with this player. Some acknowledged, others not yet and we are still waiting for a f/w update to address that since January. Sound like a joke to me and I am saying farewell to the PCH brand.

Hi Rossen,

First of all, we did not "promise" you, secondly the RC firmware version did not pass QA and had to postpone the release. We do not want to release a public firmware knowing that it contains bugs then to meet dateline.

I've had the a-200, a-300 and now the C-300 PCH players and while I was happy with the functioning of the earlier two models, C-300 is extremely problematic with regards to audio. I have to restart the player every other day, it does not pass audio with BD movies and quite a few mkv titles have the same issue. I am extremely disappointed with the player and your support so far. Seeing as the audio issue was acknowledged quite some time ago, it would have helped if you addressed it in a timely manner. Please advise if you intend to fix this problem in the foreseeable future?

yes we are working on a300 and c300 firmware to get it out soon, we had to wait for a sigma patch which fixes the hd audio issues on bd playback

Excellent news about the HD audio fix.
I sure would like to start using my C300 instead of my C200.
I hope they fix the high bit rate audio stutter too.

Oh dear! Would you mind editing that as the drive currently does not play retail blu ray. (Error code: 10353)
(Can't seem to find the register account button on the wiki page, probably a good thing.)
Audio CDs and retail DVDs play like a charm.

I'm hoping the update will fix it otherwise I'll just go out and buy a new drive that is on the compatibility list.

Deleted it from the WIKI.

You should be able to login to the WIKI using your forum user and password.
