What features do you require that you'd say none of the firmwares have worked? I've been happy. Sounds like there is a very specific need you have that has never worked.

I request only one thing: no need to reboot regularly.

This is a RC (beta) release because there is 1 known major problem in this area they are having difficulty tracking down..

However, if your unable to do anything and reboot nonstop then there is a bigger issue and many have fixed it with starting by wiping out the NAND and getting a fresh install like at the factory of the firmware again. This is documented in #2 in this thread: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=62337 A recovery involves opening the unit and using a jumper which is what triggers the redoing of the internal flash storage.

I recommend you open a thread after trying that and lets take a peak, perhaps it's some combination of your settings which causes a bug and we can help you fix that up and let syabas know of a situation they need to fix. sometimes bugs only happen with certain combinations of settings and until someone finds them, it's near impossible to cause so it can be fixed. i'll be more than happy to spend some time seeing if we can get your unit more to your liking.

Problem solved:
HDD had errors in some files.

By Green glitches, what exactly do you mean?

I get Green steaks across the video on my A300 on some files I made with my Hauppauge PVR. What type of files are you having problems with, are they something you recorded or are they Disc Files? I don't have the problem with my C/A200 units using the FW from last year. I haven't updated.

I don't know if this is the same "zoom" issue that you are experiencing.

I. if I power on my c200 (by pressing the power button on the front, the power switch on the back is already on the on position), and I have my TV/Monitor set to HDMI channel of the c200, then my display output will be normal.

II. If I switch my TV/Monitor to another channel (i.e. I am watching cable, not the c200 hdmi), press the power button of the c200, wait until the c200 has gone thru bootup, then turn the TV/Monitor to the c200 HDMI, the screen output will not be the same as in step I. (I think it defaults to max display area, smaller icons, something like that).

its a trivial matter, but it looks like when the c200 boots up, it runs a test to see if the TV/Monitor is responsive/or set to the c200 HDMI.

People have asked for that since the day the first syabas player shipped. While it would be nice if more units than the original popbox did it and I do think it should have been a feature a long long time ago, It takes less than 2 minutes to work around it so it's not like your stuck.

Hmm..i've read and tried out multiple work-arounds posted in these forums the past 2 years..and so far i havent been succesful with auto-mounting 3 network shares on a NAS. Can you point me to this 2 min work-around you're referring to?

Start up a new thread, it looks like you use nmj and it's pretty easy to get the couple mount commands the trick really is where you mount them too because certain places the pch will unmount them on you.

or shares on 3 NASs?

hello,

i've tried the update, and all steps are ok for firmware update,
but can't pass the NMT applications update (step 8 in readme;txt)

error message "source unvailable"

How can i fix it?
