Do you mean for the installer or llink-nmt when in action?

If you mean llink-nmt there is already an SD-jukebox skin included, and you can download a normal text list style SD skin (ishou_sd) via lundman's wiki:
http://www.lundman.net/wiki/index.php/Llink:skins

Then change your conf file to start with the SD skin of your choice.

It seems to start install but dosen´t to the fully thing....
Ok, so all files seem to be in place, but what is f:/? Are you using an NTFS formatted USB drive?

NTFS is read-only for the NMT, you should try with a USB stick instead, or any other USB media that is EXT3 or EXT2 formatted, possibly FAT16 and FAT32 too (but the latter two should only be used on sticks, not drives, if you are planning to a lot of media).

Thank you erlis. I will do. I don't restart often on Unix, but it should save it.

Order doesnt matter, llink picks first TYPE|name=Menu for any kind of file

Code:
TYPE|name=Menu|ext=*.mpg/*.mpeg/*.avi/*.wmv/*.mp4/*.vob/*.ifo/*.ts/*.flv/*.mkv/*.tp/*.mov/*.m2ts/*.evo/*.m4v|ignore=*|filename=menu_movie.html
TYPE|name=Menu|ext=*.rss|ignore=*|filename=menu_rss.html
TYPE|name=Menu|ext=NA|ignore=*|filename=menu.html
TYPE|name=DirectoryMenu|ext=NA|ignore=*|filename=menu_dir.html

Code:
[skin] skin_write_menu: '-rw-rw-rw- 1 user group 57 May 27 11:05 /RSS/adfad.2008.720p.BluRay.x264-sdfs.rss'
[skin] writing skin 'Menu'/'./skin/kamaishi_skies/menu_movie.html' to tmpfile: 0 (pass 0)

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
So you can still only have one Share open? That's pretty crap. Anyone know where the share info is stored? I could mount them all from the startup script. I only use llink-nmt for playing my bought DVDs, llink on OsX for everything else.

BoJaNgLeS:
Are you saying that llink-2.2.0 on WinXP crashes for rariso files? Have you turned on debug to see why?

PoPEye:

If order don't fix it, then I broke it. Probably since ext=NA, it would imply I don't use ext at all. Guess we have to think about a solution for that. (As I too plan to have special menus for different types.)

Tried setting ext=* on the last entry but it just picked the first Menu (menu_movie.html). So, yes, its broken...

finally!!! I can see my shared dir + subdirs with the media in them.
Sadly enough, I still can't play iso's Huh

When llink-2.2.0 on WinXP crashed I kept seeing a msg in the line of:
'Can't play encrypted dvd's'
a lot of times, llink just stopped running (dunno if it was because of that)

Now, on my NMT, it also doesn't play iso's. When I open a dir, which contains an .iso, I see something like the content of a VIDEO_TS folder.

Strangely enough, they all have an .iso extension.

Did I forget to do/config something?

Please help Heart I'am soooooo close to make it work. I can feel it.
No more unpacking. Wooooooooooooooooooot Blush

Yes, enter the VIDEO_TS folder and try to play the largest file within this dir.

As you can see the DVD is playing just fine.. Smile

Yes, but that is NOT what I want. When you play that file (made by llink) you can't do anything. The menu is gone, and therefore you can't change the language, the subs or anything else for that matter.

I know it is possible to click de rariso and start a dvd the 'normal' way. There must be a setting to change this.

PS: I also installed the latest XP version (2.2.0) on my pc, and I have the same problems there.

There must be others that had this problem too, and/or know how to fix this... right? Blush

This is a known limitation of llink. At present, it cannot display the DVD menu.
In the future, who knows what may be done, but if you want to use DVD menu right now you have to mount NFS or SMB share and run it over that. You can invoke this over llink too, I think, but it requires some changes in the conf file. (And the NMT will require you to open the share connection first before using llink).

What you can do is play the individual .vob (basically an mpeg file inside) , but it will get the default audio track.

And, you can use external subs, just rename them to the name of the vob-file (TS_VIDEO_01.srt, as an example). I usually do this as my wife uses subs a lot.

RE: llink-2.2.0 Release Announcement
llink can not do DVD menus, and I fail to see how you would ever be able to. It would have to magically convert DVD menus to HTML to send.

What Syabas COULD do is handle menus from a VIDEO_TS folder over HTTP, but they do not.

In future, I am hoping to use dvdnav to offer Titles, and different Audio tracks. So that part at least works. I could offer the Subtitle track as well, but mono does not do DVD subtitles at all. Unless Syabas fixes that.

Thanks! I'll look forward to that.
I've just upgraded to your latest release (2.2.0).

Btw, every time I upgrade I had to check the *.conf files line by line to add/remove the changes on the new release since I want to preserve my old settings. Is there's an easier way to update?

The sort function is a new feature I found in the config, I didn't read anywhere where to change sorting but I found out it's the 'setup' button on the remote. Can I still use the old sort method? If possible I want a specific sorting for each directory just like before but still have function to
change sorting thru the remote.

If I press Title on the remote, a blank field pops on the top screen. What does it do?

Are there some documentation on how this would work?

I had an idea involving fuse and www mount on the NMT to be able to play iso/img with menus inside rar:ed archives..

I.e.

When you see an iso/img and press play on them in llink your NMT actually tries to open the file as a locally mounted file hence using amp instead of mono and we can have full support to all menus and stuff..

Is this possible or have there been any work in this direction? Syabas doesn't seem to like the idea in adding support for remote files in amp.

It works similarly to the way the the static jukeboxes does it:

Add a new TYPE with ext=*.iso (and.img if needed) and filename=line_iso.html in the conf file, then create a line_iso.htm to the skin, where the HREF is:
Code:
<a href="file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/[NFS] nas::media:/<!--LLINK_FILE_URL-->" zcd="2"
Or something like that.

Here's PoPEye's w00t post:
http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...2#pid32522
Mind that the NMT style [NFS/SMB] path has changed since then!

EDIT: some "<" and ">" chararcters seems to be converted to code in the post. But I think you can read this regardless.

It's probably the NMT url input box you are describing. You can enter a url with the remote (or easier: with a usb keyboard) and press OK and the NMT Gaya browser will take you there.

Usually not very pretty. This browser is not optimized for normal desktop browsing, but there are some sites that are NMT optimized with newsfeeds, links to radio- and video webstations etc.
