you could always pull it out of the index.htm file yourself... but they do 2 completely different things. Personally, i like it the way it is, because the one takes me to my jukebox...and the other takes me out to the stock file list incase i added something new thats not in the jukebox yet.

Since you're a Fallout fan, how about a theme based on the Pipboy?

RE: NMT Theme - Kdoske v0.2 - Custom Icon Request Now Being Accepted
I keep getting a No Content Found error for music or photos...those are on a network share with subdirectories. So it seems to get to the main folder, but nothing else under it.

Either the link in the .htm is wrong, you don't have your guest account enabled on your server/incorrect password on NMT, or you haven't mounted the share yet on the NMT. Unfortunately you must manually mount all shares on the nmt before you can browse their directories each time the NMT is turned on from its off state. Its probably one of the biggest flaws of the NMT as far as I am concerned. |

RE: NMT Theme - Kdoske v0.2 - Custom Icon Request Now Being Accepted
It's weird, because, I am essentially getting to the music folder, but it is saying it can't find the type of content it is looking for. I have the network share added as a PCH share.
When I try to change the line to use the NETWORK_BROWSER, I get the request cannot be processed error, which usually means it can't get there from here. I do have the guest account enabled, and have also tried making the music share use the admin credentials as well. BTW, thanks for the response. So essentially, I have a computer in the basement named homexp and on it I have shared a folder called music. On the popcorn hour, I have added that folder as a network share called music. So I have modified the line to read: <a href="http://localhost.drives:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/music/?filter=1" id="thumbimage"> Is that correct? |

RE: NMT Theme - Kdoske v0.2 - Custom Icon Request Now Being Accepted
No that's wrong. You are missing the name of your server in the address. Assuming your are using an SMB share it should looks something like this:
"file:///opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/NETWORK_SHARE/KDOSKE-SERVER01:Music/?filter=1" id="thumbimage" I use file rather then HTTP now becuase I have read it increases read times over the network..........I have no idea how true that is though. I would also vote for:
TV series or TV shows Movies or DVD's and maybe also Anime Ive also been thinking about breaking out my HD / bluray rips seperate from the rest of my movies, but i guess with yamj its easy enough to sort... Perhaps a HD Movies or something like that? just my 2 cents.. by the way.. great work... love the clean sleek look. |

RE: NMT Theme - Kdoske v0.2 - Custom Icon Request Now Being Accepted
I have this working with YAMJ linked and can play movies and everything...
But I cant seem to figure out how to get out of the YAMJ index, back to the Kdoske index? say im watching Movies then wanted to go to Music, I cant get out of YAMJ perhaps im missing something super simple.. as I've only had it for a day... but i cant seem to figure this out? maybe its just a remote key im missing, ive tried return, and home? maybe i need to add a link in the index file to go back to the Kdoske index.htm... Im guessing someone has already run across this and has a proper fix for it. |

RE: NMT Theme - Kdoske v0.2 - Custom Icon Request Now Being Accepted
you need to make a tvid back to the theme from yamj's indexes.
What yamj skin are you using? |

RE: NMT Theme - Kdoske v0.2 - Custom Icon Request Now Being Accepted
I find its just as easy to click source on the remote and then hard drive. The index will auto load and you will be right back were you started. You can add a TVID id to the YAMJ index though but that can be a pain in the butt after a while because each time you update your movie library in YAMJ the index file will be rewritten and you will have to add it again.

RE: NMT Theme - Kdoske v0.2 - Custom Icon Request Now Being Accepted
Hello,
Congratulations on your awesome PCH menu. Would you please tell me what I would write in place of 'localhost.drives' in your index file. I am accessing my PCH using a batch file with the command NET USE X: \\192.168.2.11\share 1234 /user:nmt /persistent:no It shows up in My Computer as (X share on 'SMP8634 Share 192.168.2.11)' Thanks in advance for any direction on this and other editing of the file that you may offer me. I am using a 50" Samsung 1080p plasma and a Denon 1708 AVR. (BTW I don't know why that smiley comes up and hides two characters in the middle of the string I just typed.)
CPU 3.4 GHZ P4 running XP Pro SP3, Wired Home Network, A-110 PCH, Firmware updated, 500 GB Int HDD, using SMB shares, MoC Rev. 6.0 rev3, MLMJ Export Script 082508.exe, Samsung 50" Plasma, Denon AVR-1708, |

RE: NMT Theme - Kdoske v0.2 - Custom Icon Request Now Being Accepted
I already tried copying your Maxishare files (dated 11-16) to my PCH hard drive in order to compare the results with Excal's. I like Excal's too, but haven't gotten the MyIHome links working up to now. The only thing that works on that one is the Jukebox link which, of course, is the one I have done the most work on. I see now that the only thing that needs to be edited on your page is the link to the jukebox icon which now fails because it doesn't know where to look. The other icons work as you have them now. I tried to do this editing myself using HotDog editor, but the only thing I accomplished was causing the jukebox image to disappear entirely from the screen. Of course, I still have the unedited file. Would you please tell me which hyperlink I need to edit to make your jukebox icon bring up the index page for my jukebox software. It is in a folder by the name MLMJ and has the name index_m.htm. It appears that I will have your system working 100% after I do that. Thanks in advance for fixing me up on this.
