did you mount the share first? It seems counter intuitive but network shares must be mounted before you navigate to them. To do this push source then the network share. Push source then hard drive and return back to your index. From now on, that is until you restart the device or unmount the share, the links in the index will always work.

Whats described above is an NMT limitation and is not something that can be fixed by me in this index.

I'm not able to access any of my network shares through the Kdoske index.htm.

For example: I have several shares setup on my SYNOLOGY NAS:
1. Series
2. Video
3. Music

On my PCH-A110 I have set up the following network shares:

Code:

1. Name = SERIES / URL = smb://SYNOLOGY/Series / username = popcorn / password = popcorn
2. Name = VIDEO / URL = smb://SYNOLOGY/Video / username = popcorn / password = popcorn
3. Name = MUSIC / URL = smb://SYNOLOGY/Music / username = popcorn / password = popcorn

These three shares on the Synology NAS have been setup with the local user popcorn which has readonly access.

When I press the source button on the PCH-A110 remote I see the shares and I can browse and access them without any problems.

However, when I try to access them from the index.htm page, I get either a "Request cannot be processed" error if I use the following:

or a "Content not found" error if I use the following:

When I first go to source by pressing the source button on the remote and then select the share Series, then return to the Kdoske index.htm and then choose Series, I am able to browse and access the share (the share seems to have been mounted now). But then the other shares in the Kdoske index.htm do not work, unless I browse them first through source.

Setting up a hidden link on the index page also doesn't seem to work: it says in Kdoske you should use the file protocol, which always seems to give me a "Request cannot be processed error".

I have also tried using

Furthermore I tried setting the popcorn user rights on the SYNOLOGY to read/write access and I also tried to use a guest account with readonly and also with read/write access. But none of these seem to make any difference.

Is this still a limitation with the Popcorn Hour A-110 and the latest firmware?
I read something about automounting network shares by changing the automount_shares.sh on the PCH-A110. Would that solve this problem? Is it possible to automount multiple shares? Anybody any idea how this could be done?
